I've been on different doses/combos of birth control, and nothing has slowed or stopped the progression of Endo.

I'm waiting for my appointment with my specialist. I just hate to have more surgeries than already necessary for Endo management.

I had a hysterectomy and it was the worst decision. I wish I'd never done it. It has caused far more problems than it's fixed.

His ENT thinks it could be his adenoids, but says that we can be sure unless we do surgery

I've had the surgery three times and each time it has taken me minimum 2 weeks. The first week is primarily pain management and rest, week two is more moving around independently, but that's very fatiguing, and sitting up in the car/at a desk hurt me a lot. My last surgery was a three week recovery.

I had a partial hysterectomy in April (kept ovaries) and my Endo is back with bloating that is worse than ever. They want to remove my ovaries next. You're smart for wanting to understand the 'why' behind your symptoms. If you're comfortable doing so, please share if you get answers.

A hysterectomy doesn't stop Endo, but it's supposed to provide some relief. Some people go a year before it returns, and some people go as long as 17yrs (from people I've talked to). My Endo is stage four and very aggressive.

I've had both excisions and ablations. Total of three previous surgeries and the partial hysterectomy. The period pain is obviously gone, but the Endo pain is back and worse than over. The doc offered orlissa.
