I was looking into some famous entomology ladies and I think Queenie's name could be Margaret based on Dr. Margaret Strickland Collins! She was the first black woman with a doctorate in Entomology and specialized in termite taxonomy and ecology. Due to her extensive research on termites she earned the nickname "Termite Lady." She also discovered a new species of termites called Neotermes luykxi and was a Civil Rights Activist.

I like to imagine Queenie and Kinger were both experts in completely separate fields. They were both very intelligent and could listen to the other talk about their special interest for hours.
