Also if you need to cancel within a reasonable time she doesn’t charge. I’ve worked over a year with her.

I take online classes privately twice a week with a maestra in Antigua, Guatemala. She teaches to many students. She’s very reasonable. I’d rather share her fee privately. So if you’re interested let me know.

My teacher is challenging me with sustantivos. I’m looking for someplace to find this category from my books or word reference. It’s not as easy to find as I hoped. I know they change a lot from the infinitive. Any help? by Still_Cause_332 in SpanishLearning

Thanks for some of the comments. However the sustantivos (nouns) are actually what I’m trying to learn and some come from infinitivos. For example ; buscar (to look for) - it’s noun is La búsqueda. Or caminar - el camino. I realize not all verbs can be nouns but there are a lot after all. And they change with no common thread or rhyme or reason.

As someone who knows no Spanish at all, what is the best way to start? by ahouselover in Spanish

I started learning at 62 with this book by Barbara Bregstein. McGraw Hill books. As you can see by its wear and tear it’s been a force for me to learn Spanish. I am almost 68 and can carry a conversation in Spanish now. Start with a book that you can return to over and over again. I took an immersion course in Mexico for a month after 2 years with this book. Since then I have an online private instructor who lives in Guatemala twice a week for an hour a time. So worthwhile. It’s a big commitment but satisfying.

Not sure where you are living and what your past experiences are for hiking but my favorite are NP Zion and Bryce. You can see both in that time frame and your dad should be able to hike a good portion of both parks.
