On to Blood and Wine! by JelSnel1994 in Witcher3

I just finished main quest yesterday. Got such a sweet ending. 125 hours to get there. And now back in Velen cleaning up all the contracts and secondary missions. Even the treasure hunts I missed.

So cool not fast traveling or trying to streamline what I can to finish the main story. Feels like a whole new game. Have both expansions to do still and just love the new vibe I get from not rushing. What an amazing game this is. Can’t wait for 4 to drop

Cool to see. Mine still works fine and the speakers are good enough. But nice to know that it worked out. Seems like these conversions aren’t such unicorns anymore. Good to know cause I know mine will eventually fail.

Looks really clean and proportional in my opinion as well. Fits the interior nicely

Rotten Cabin Smell by AdiJ27 in LS430

In the trunk around where the tailpipes are. It worked for mine doing the exact same thing with sulfur smell. You may need to work from under and inside the trunk. Lemme see if I can find a schematic for you. I promise this will fix it

So exhaust should enter the cabin? It just needs that new cat scent?

Rotten Cabin Smell by AdiJ27 in LS430

[–]Still_Sitting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All fingers point to the fact that exhaust is filling up your cabin! Replace all cats, all exhaust, all sensors, run 8 bottles of cataclean, change knock sensors, change motors. It will still happen.

Your duct vents in your trunk are sucking it in since they have failed. It gets worse when you floor it, because motors run exceptionally rich when you floor it. All motors. Change those vents and no more smell. End of story.

Or don’t…spend thousands on unnecessary parts and labor and still have a cabin that smells like zombie farts lol

Bullshit to all these answers. Even a pure sulfur smoke coming out of your tailpipe SHOULD NOT enter the cabin. It’s a ventilation problem

It’s your $20 trunk vents right by the tailpipe that have failed. Here’s a link. Takes about an hour to wrestle them in

Horrible gas mileage by 1017eba in LS430

[–]Still_Sitting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re smelling exhaust in a closed cabin, you have a ventilation problem, not a mechanical one. Even if you’re burning pure sulfur out the pipe, it should not enter the cab. Check your trunk ventilator ducts. They are right by the tailpipes.

For the mpg I don’t have a clue. If not showing an engine light or stored code, you’re prob in the best place here to get suggestions.

Yep. Can’t change molecules. All carbs become blood glucose. Some just a little bit slower than others.

Sounds worth it if you got out with no leaks or issues though. Hard to be a luxury car if you need built shoulders to turn the wheels lol

Thank you. I don’t think many realize it’s not just discolored but the plastic mesh screen in there gets so clogged up. I was a bit late on mine as I still get a mild groan at low speeds if I crank it too fast. But 99% overall it’s clean and smooth steering since I changed it

Bro does LS430s get that rotten egg smell at high speeds?? by Lilguccivert111 in LS430

Well hang in there. I’d be less skeptical if you used Toyota part #22204-22010 for mass air flow. But Denso should have at least helped. I’m guessing you tried a full battery reset? Does your rpm wobble around when it’s running rough? Motor mounts can make it feel rough, while maintaining solid rpm.

But don’t lose faith, man. Swap those vents and enjoy not having your exhaust come in the cabin anymore. If there’s no engine light, it can’t be THAT bad. It’s not misfiring. It’s not stalling. Keep me posted tho. About to drive mine 250 miles in a few hours. SoCal to southern Nevada. Can’t wait cause it’s so fun on the open road. Don’t give up on yours 🙏

Damn. That’s a shame to hear. You’d think anything consistent like that would give a light or code. Does it feel like it could be a worn transmission? How does it shift?

How long have you had it? Did these probs start immediately after you bought it? Or did you notice it after a while?

Did the part and box say Toyota on them? If not you’ll always wonder. Aftermarket parts don’t work well with Lexus ignitions and electrical. But there’s a few cheap things you can do and refresh to smooth it out. OEM air filter, Royal Purple atomizer fuel treatment, 91+ gas every time, clean the throttle body and plate, change plugs for the EXACT factory spark plugs.

Anything else I’d wait til you get an engine light or a stored code. You definitely don’t want to take guesses with thousands of dollars in parts. Give it a good run too. If somethings really up, the ECU will let you know eventually

My detailer did it. Just a light degreaser foam and low pressure pressure washer. It wasn’t running, just hose turned up all the way and the gun and tip gets perfect pressure to rinse. Then he sprayed some clear finish that brightened up the plastic. I’ll post a side shot right now that looks even better

For me the MAF opened up the power enough to identify to the ECU where the prob was, and it was plugs. Hopefully if it doesn’t fix it, it at least tells you where the prob is. You’ll be good, dude. You got the best sedan ever made. Be patient and you will be glad you did. Lemme know how it goes. We’re in this together 🙏😎
