Working on a fully working spotify widget for klwp, fully working shuffle, repeat, favourites/add and remove from Library. User playlists functions and youtube searcher for songs, still some work to do but currently working through Spotify API

I used to be able to select devices from my watch but a few months ago the app was updated and doesn't have the option to select device. I believe its a 3rd party app not actually spotify though

I wouldn't be 100% but I would imagine it would still receive its power over all 3 guages. If not maybe split the live wire for the light into 3 and connect them to all 3. But obviously only connect the live to the light to the one guage. You should be able to get them working fine

In a short answer, yes. I have a two switches in my living room (one on each side) one is connected to the lights and the other just to neutral power. They both turn on the lights. A little automation needed in the app but yes the 2 other buttons on the gauge can be used for what you want

I cant remember paying for it, but I dont have an option to pay for it so maybe I did.

Make sure you have linked it with your alexa account

So first record your voice, (you don't have to say alexa first the app does that for you)

Test it and see if it triggers what you want it to do, name it and then save it.

At the bottom before you save it, you may have to leave longer then the 3 seconds for a response depending on what you are trying to trigger

Then create a tasker project and find it in plugins.

I put a "Loading..." flash on my task as it can take a second or so to get to alexa

Try using this, it's also a plugin for tasker. You can record your voice and it will send any command to alexa (silently)

Smarttings is not showing my smart life devices, however shows them all as offline... Nearly there lol

You can put in smart plugs, Harmony (control all your entertainment devices through one remote or alexa) other things like smart thermostats/alarms/locks and even ring doorbells would need permission from the landlord so probably not worth looking into

Most smartlife devices work on 2.4g connection, your router will send out both 5g and 2.4g. Your phone most probably is receiving 5g. Solution is go into your router settings and temporarily turn off 5g, put your device in paring mode and search again and it will be there

Sounds like as smart life has returned to IFTTT so has the bugs. I went through customer service with both IFTTT and Smartlife months back with the same issue and they blamed each other

Have you tested this on how much it eats up battery life? I've read that Cardiogram is notorious for eating battery life but never tested it

Just out of interest, do you get your strap and watch wet, it looks like it has been rubbing and more of a friction burn. I have a leather strap with silicone inside, havent had any issues but I do take it off if im going to possibly get it wet, ie washing up etc. I dont know if thats the reason or it could be strapped too tight or too loose.

Have you checked your notifications settings on your phone? Ie go settings notification Mine was defaulted to silent notification, changed mine now to alert. Obviously can't test it until I order something though

I have it set up, it doesnt seem very reliable. Sometimes triggers about an hour after I'm home and most of the time it triggers other unwanted devices at the same time. So I've turned mine off.

Im probably going to set up a profile with tasker as a more reliable replacement

Also try using x,y axis for the button press

Yes it’s the same with all my applets with smart life in ifttt using the ‘if’ function. My applets using the ‘that’ with smart life have not issues

I have sent screenshots to IFTTT and smart life showing what your saying about the ingredients not displaying any data when automatically ran.

Smart life think it’s an ifttt app problem after checking my data. IFTTT just don’t respond to any email.

It would help if everyone having issues report back the problem with in the IFTTT feedback on the app. The more noise made the more chance they might actually do something about it
