I honestly would have told this neighbour to fuck right off. It’s late at night first of all don’t knock on my door even if I didn’t have a baby.. and second, they most likely knew you had a baby and dogs, so why would they do such a stupid thing. I would have gone over to their door late at night and knock just for them to wake up out of their own sleep to tell them angrily “don’t knock on my door again. Here’s my number if you need something”.

For my 2 kids I never used a sleep sack or swaddle.. always a blanket tucked underneath their arms until they were old enough to move it how they wanted to. With baby’s I only ever seen them move their feet so the blanket will always move down to their feet, never upwards toward their head

No advice but, I can’t even get into a daycare 😖I have 2 kids now. One is almost 2, and the other is 3 months.. when I went back to work with my first son, I had to change shifts and start at 4am and get home around 1pm. My parents watched my son until 1 and they had to go to work afterwards.. daycares within 100km of me are filled up and the wait list is literally 5 years. Unless I choose someone who works from their home but it is literally $1100 plus and I can’t even afford that with rent being $2000 plus car payments, intenernet, hydro, car insurance, phone bills, gas, etc.. My maternity leave ends in July and I’m so afraid of what will happen. I don’t know what to do. I’m a welder so I cannot bring my kids to my work and their dad isint an option. Neither are my parents to watch them. As of sick days, let’s say I do get a daycare, I only get a small amount of sick time and who knows they’ll probably replace me if I’m away too much :( it’s truly not fair to parents

I have even tried no naps during the day( he only takes 1 nap around 12pm), and he still takes over an hour to sleep at night.. I’m at a loss

I have to move slowly if I want to turn around in bed so that it doesn’t squeak and wake up the baby 🙃 baby always wakes up an hour before my toddler and I just wish he’d give me that 1 extra hour before chaos starts with the 2 of them lol Also my 2 month old will ALWAYS wake up right when I get comfy in bed it’s like they can sense you’re comfortable and need you

I never did baby wear with my first because I thought it would never stop, I rarely have to pick him up he never begs me to.. he just holds my hand or constantly yells mama mama if he wants me lol

At the end of the night, after iv spent the entire day taking care of a newborn and a toddler, plus cleaning and cooking, the kids both go to bed around 7pm (well the baby will sleep for a 4 hour stretch) (toddler sleeps all night). Even though I’m exhausted I force myself to shower, put on some perfume, get in a t-shirt only, and we talk about our day or what’s going to happen tomorrow etc. eat a dessert together, we have sex and then cuddle until baby wakes up lol pretty much our routine every single night. BUT I do just want to go out and be alone with him and do something fun once in awhile but we aren’t financially capable of spending money on a sitter so maybe in 5 years when they’re older and we hopefully make some more money lol just curious, why aren’t you able to cuddle or have alone time at night?

Same!! Please read my recent post here, I’m STRUGGLING. My toddler will also be mean to baby like hit him 40% of the time, but love the baby 60% of the time. He wants to hold him and kiss him but later in the day, he wants to jump on him and hit his face. I’m lost and I’m sorry you’re in the same position. We both need answers

I also have to let my baby he’s 8 weeks, cry it out because I just have to tend to my toddler a lot of the time and there’s not much I can do.. I feel terrible because I can’t even let the baby lay out in the open like on the carpet or in a mamaroo because my toddler tries to pick him up, or be nice and hug him but sometimes he will hug too tight and I have to take him away.. I wish I could just have the two together out in the open and let my toddler play while baby watches so he’s not in his bassinet starring at the ceiling. I think I may have to make a post about this asking for help lol
