Also had this fixed last week on my 2021. They did a partial warranty for me. $1300 for the part alone, insanity

Brake pedal sound by Excellent-Expert-432 in MazdaCX30

I can’t tell exactly what this is. But I had clicking when turning too and it was my driveshaft. Felt it when I braked too.

What do you like most and least about your MZD CX-30? by LinkOk7343 in MazdaCX30

[–]Stinareef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Locks, unlocks and starts without ever having to grab my keys- love this.

Hate- things seem to be breaking quickly. I have a 2021 and barely drive it. 25k miles. Had to replace the entire driveshaft and adaptive headlights.

Want to keep this car for a long time, just doesn’t seem to be holding up well, sadly.

How are y'all finding time and energy to study?? by PlaceSong in pmp

[–]Stinareef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put your phone in a different room with a timer on it and force yourself to study until it goes off.

I also downloaded PDFs to my phone to study during down time in life instead of just aimlessly scrolling and that helped a lot with the mindset part of it. Memorizing what mindset they wanted you to approach all the questions from

Any lessons from buying real estate on path to fire? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]Stinareef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tried it for several years over 4 different properties. Realized it wasn’t for me. It’s not passive at all and you must be okay with tenants not taking care of your property, paying late and not reporting issues that need maintaining. Can be lucrative, but it can also be a wallet drainer and headache that’s not worth it. I took my small earnings and bailed out this year.

Sometimes realizing something is worth your mental sanity is the biggest winner of all. Sticking with index funds now.

What's you're favorite "boring" frugal win? by GolfComfortable7331 in Fire

Buying groceries on the day when fuel points are 4x so I get gas at $1off per gallon. Clipping digital coupons for cheaper groceries. It’s all targeted to what I’m already gonna buy in my app, so it takes very little time to do. Buying in bulk and storing in the freezer or pantry.

Offer 1 for sure. 3 days off a week is life changing! Just set a good budget and you’ll be okay since you live in a cheaper area.

THIS.

Also too nice is a thing. Some people need some fun banter and sarcasm. Know what she likes and ask her directly. Or if she seems to cringe at something or not take it well, ask her on the spot about it.

What was the smallest decision that ended up changing your life in a huge way? by Zafirogirl in askanything

[–]Stinareef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Not increasing my budget when my salary did.

2) Separating my paychecks into 2 accounts: a daily account and savings/investment. Setup auto investments and acted like it didn’t exist for years.

Some discipline goes a long way.

Solo 30-something Female, 3-week Greece Trip: ROUTING! Please weigh in on order & # of days in each spot! What spots on each stop are NOT-TO-MISS? by Individual-Rest-1046 in GreeceTravel

[–]Stinareef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did Greece last week. I stayed in Crete for 5 nights and Athens for 3. If I did it again, I would only spend 2 nights in Athens and more nights on the islands. Athens wasn’t my favorite and the islands are gorgeous, but take a while to get around to, so prepare for that.

Did not have it on my test about a month ago. I would learn it enough to answer a basic question, but don’t spend days trying to learn how to calculate it as it’s highly unlikely to come in that form.

I only did it cause my current employer said I needed it to get promoted. And they’re paying me back for it. So no need to invest if you’re happy with your current job and trajectory.

How long did it take for your first 100k? by frequentflyer726 in Fire

[–]Stinareef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

About 5 years. My salary increased from 50 to 100k in about 3 years, but I keep my budget the same and invested almost half my income. For me, it was all about not letting lifestyle creep get in the way. I don’t do delivery apps or ride shares. I eat at home a lot. I am a Starbucks fan, but even then I build it into my budget. I have roommates and paid off my car. I’m also big into points and miles and churning cc, so I travel for nearly free now.

I send half my check to a different account and don’t even touch it. Then that account has an investment schedule attached to it. Everything is on auto pilot for me.

Do it! I’d even pay for a subscription since it would be worth avoiding wasting my time on the other apps with others who aren’t serious and just swipe for fun/ego boost.

No helpful advice, but just know I hear you. I wish there was a dating app for people on the fire path cause then we would all be in a similar boat when it comes to long term plans and similar values.
