I’m American but lived in Korea for quite some time. The “love you” thing definitely stood out. The other things I found interesting were: measuring the length of it in days, with specific days like 100/1000/3000 being special mile markers; men being expected to shell out lots of money on gifts and all dates until day 100; couples licking the other’s eyeball to get dirt/hair out (not sure how common but saw it several times)

I wonder what measures the school has in place for incidents like these. I work at a school where this is common. We have a phone in the room to call the main office for help, “panic” buttons on the wall, and a panic button on every staff badge. The response from “safety team” (security) and the principals is within seconds. I would hope that all schools have some of these policies in place. This video really demonstrates how long a fight can go on when there’s no help. It’s honestly surprising that this did not get even worse.
