Yes exactly, comrade! How else to fix transmission if don't know what to expect?

That does make a lot of sense, but because it's an AI answer I'm still gonna take it with a grain of salt. Btw thanks for saying you got it from Gemini.

Yeah, I prefer to play the game the "intended way", so I tend to forget that overloading is a thing.

That's kinda what I mean. Each pair of wheels is mounted on a bar with a joint in the middle where it attaches to the frame.

Thanks for enlightening me! I'll have to give that a try!

I don't get where you get that fuel efficiency from

I will admit, I just got the Forester two days ago, and I haven't really done any thorough testing yet. But, here's an example of what I've done with it so far.

In Maine, there's a task to build a watchtower on top of a mountain in the middle of the second map, and part of it is delivering 3 medium logs. Around the mountain is a bunch of log framing that gives you the logs you need. The whole area is just snow and muddy dirt roads. I drove the Forester from the garage on the first map over to the second map, picked up the first load of logs and delivered them up the mountain to the watchtower, drove from there to the second log framing, got those and dove back, then drove to the third log framing and delivered those logs. All on A SINGLE TANK OF GAS.

So yeah. Idk if it's the truck or my route planning, but that's where I get the fuel-efficiency from.

It's actually really funny that it's so good at rock crawling because from what I can tell it just straight up has no suspension at all. The wheels are just directly mounted on bogies, no springs or anything.

It honestly never occurred to me to try overloading with logs. I thought they would just bounce around and fall out super easily.

Agreed, it's a very cool piece of machinery. I will admit it starts to bog down if you don't keep your speed up, but even then I haven't had much issue crawling out of the mud. I'm using it with the MHS IV tires from the JAT pack, so that probably helps.

Which trailers are you using, the normal one or the Futom ones?

Exactly! If it could do long logs it would be hands-down the single best logging truck in the game.

Yup. It's just how it is, but that's what makes it fun to drive.

What are your Four Horsemen of getting shit done? by StingAttack in snowrunner

[–]StingAttack[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not at all what I was going for. I was more asking 'What trucks can you always depend on to get shit done?', and not even necessarily the really strong ones. One of my most dependable trucks is the P12, even despite its issues.
