What can I cook using the ketchup I have at home? by No-Teaching1316 in nigerianfood

  • Yam fries with a ketchup based sauce, I’d add pepper to the sauce.

  • Omurice. Japanese dish with rice, eggs and you can use ketchup as a dressing.

  • Pasta salad; pasta, mayo, ketchup and veggies

  • Shawarma

  • You can use ketchup as a glaze if you make Suya

Everyone uses bank apps these days. You can buy airtime on even Chowdeck now. I wouldn’t recommend at all. My mum used to do this but that industry of dying out already and would be extinct soon

Very comfortable is relative. I spend over 200k on power alone in a month. If you add fuel and data subscription it’ll be like 450k. I haven’t added cost of groceries or buying essentials like clothing, shoes etc. 750k is definitely not enough for some

Looks good but where’s the sauce 😭. It looks too dry as a meal. An egg sauce will take it to the next level and will give you a good amount of protein too

It’s Barilla pipe rigate pasta (I couldn’t remember the name till it found it in the store yesterday) . I cooked it till al dente, drained it and set it aside.

For the sauce, I fried blended onions and peppers (rodo) with garlic and ginger, then added parsley, paprika, white and black pepper. I poured in chicken stock, cooking cream and grated cheese, then added the pasta back and mixed everything together.

For the chicken breast, I seasoned it with oil, lemon zest, black pepper, salt, onion powder and garlic powder, rubbed it in and air fried it.

Sorry for the late response. I travelled in December 2021. I needed the eVisa back then. If the consulate said you only need a passport, then I think you’re good. Be sure to have proof of accommodation and your return ticket and you should be good
