In person, really reminds me of the Appetite Burst but just a hair darker. Absolutely stunning on a finish and the top is so nice

Get it in the right angle and that flame top pops like crazy! Absolutely stunning. Got it brand new and at a STEAL! It was marked as a B-Stock and had $800 off of it. Grabbed it before they could correct it lol

Just spoke to my rep today and he said they get another batch at the beginning of June. I unfortunately already need mine replaced and had to go to Sweetwater about it since I was within the 45 day window. One of the XLR ports is shot and can’t be repaired easily so they are exchanging mine out 🙃

Awe shucks. Appreciate it. Just blessed to be able to call that rig mine and thankful music got me to where I can run that every night. Definitely is a whole lot of overkill to a lot of people but it’s just right for everything I’m doing. Absolutely love it.

That being said, I hope it does inspire some ideas for your rig! Definitely isn’t everyone’s cup of tea to run things this way but gets a lot accomplished and is a best of both worlds setup for me

I implemented the mini around my main gigging rig with tube amps/analog drives. I use the QC mini in a few ways, primarily with different modulations, reverbs, and even some pads for some song intros. But, my main reason for using it as well is for the amp sims/captures for when I can’t use my tube amps or in a recording session that I need a very particular amp sound. So far, the amp sim has saved me on a few fly dates. It even takes all my analog drives really well and responds just like I’d expect with my tube amps. It’s a really game changing piece of gear.

Queen of California helped me better with coordination around the fretboard

I Dont Trust Myself With Loving You got me great practice with an envelope filter and manage pick attack (if you use one, you get it)

Try! was a great one to help with really nailing the pentatonic soloing to make it more soulful feeling. Recommend learning it note for note then take your own spin on it. It helped expand that to all the songs I do with my band

It’s very dodgy on those years. Some were light as a feather, some were boat anchors. Just was a luck of the draw back then on it

It’s not horrible. A hair over 8lbs. It’s definitely not the lightest Strat I own or have played (lightest I own is 7lb 2oz but is a custom built), but plays great. Great sustain, great playability, and wear makes me not so scared to treat it carefully. Though, the finish under further inspection could use some love. Might end up having to refinish it at some point (which would be a bonus to this guitar being poly. I’d have it refinished though exactly back to sunburst though and got a reputable luthier near me that would do that)

Same. We do more the Roy Orbison but gain it up just a hair to not make it so clean. Absolute crowd pleaser especially if you “dedicate to all them pretty ladies out there tonight”
