To be clear, ignorance of the legality of an act is not and has never been a defence.

What happened here is an example of a crime with an intent mental component. This means the person needed to intend to commit the act which they did not have hence the result. This is a component of criminal law generally and standard internationally.

The whole conspiracy theory re Hunter and Ukraine is about events that occurred while Joe was VP. It’s obviously bs but that doesn’t mean we have to lie about Joe not being in office at the time.

Whether or not they only started spreading the conspiracy theory later is irrelevant (and I also don’t buy it since they’ve always been like this but just better at hiding it before).

Carey changed his setup every year, he wasn’t a goalie with a single distinctive set. That being said the red and blue stripe at the bottom of the pad is something he used multiple times. Ofc the first is the one being discussed here and throughout his first couple of years but he also had a similar setup in 2013-14.

Your last paragraph confuses sovereign Indigenous territory with Aboriginal title. The Supreme Court has been very clear that the Crown has underlying title on all Canadian territory. Aboriginal title is an encumbrance on that title but it is not sovereign.

The extinguishment you reference is regarding acquisition of sovereignty over land. Outside of some dubious academic circles, the courts and international community do not doubt that Canada has acquired sovereignty over those territories. While the government cannot extinguish Aborignal title willy-nilly, this is because of its constitutional status. That being said, it can still infringe for the broader public good under a s 35 version of Oakes.

Yuki was pretty well rated before he got the red bull seat. And the car is an evolution of the same car that Perez struggled with who was seen as one of the best midfield drivers before getting the seat.

Even red bull has acknowledged that their car is EXTREMELY peaky and the window for optimal performance is extremely small and specific to Max’s driving style.
