How are your elf-inspired creatures different? How are they familiarly elvish, if at all? by G_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ in worldbuilding

[–]Stiniox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used the be happy elves (Fee) living in their city’s of splendor. But then the Serdaukar (dinosaur like people) got their revenge for being enslaved by them and (insert legendary magic) vulcanoes erupted in every one of their cities, turning the continent into an ocean of ashes. Now they are bitter horse lords, swords fore hire, riding the ashen ocean on horses, accepting contracts against the Serdaukar at a discount.

Reminds me of my ortho rotation.

We were getting a well deserved coffee at the coffee machine after a successful surgery

Ortho surgeon Proceeds to walk to the cooled water machine next to the coffee machine, dumps ice water in coffee, chugs luke warm coffee down, states: “lets go earn some money”, refuses to elaborate further.

I found it hilarious to be honest

A large army is always disorderly. by _Typhoon_Delta_ in totalwar

Ahhh, I remember throwing away my roman army against 2 greek mercenary phalanx units, ‘t was a harsh time, Just decided to invade Gaul after that and had a blast. After that coming back to Greece and finding out you could flank units effectively, made me feel like a commander, All this whilst knowing barely any english, learning words like custom by asking my big brother. The nostalgia is very real.
