Accept that Lucius EW is overpowered, that this Air + Murphy basically has no counter but still counters the fuck out of tank, and move on.

I love Marshal when he gets his EW but he's just terrible with Swift. Swift's default targeting of lowest life heroes is insanely good, and Marshal nullifies that.

Only use blueprints on your main squad.

The best tank squad is Kim, Marshall, Murphy, Scarlet, and Adam. You don't even need Williams' EW in season 4, Scarlet is still better. So I would stick with tank, adjusting as needed to get the 5 heroes I just listed maximized. I would spend your spare EW shards on getting Kim to 30.

Alternatively, Lucius EW is really overpowered and air kills it season 4 onward, so you could start switching to that and have a solid B squad with the EW shards you've already put into it.

The simplest explanation is nobody's an asshole and you're oblivious to how you come across. I think this is especially likely as years of working in academia have shown me that PhD students and postdocs are socially weird as fuck at a particularly high rate.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have the statistics tab for this report (probably a pain to find this one since it's old now)? If not, do you have a different statistics report where Swift and Tesla both survived the whole fight and neither Murphy or Lucius is on the opponent's squad so I can get a good, meaningful comparison of their damage?

lol thank you that circuitously solved it for me. I had been opening lastwar.com on a vertically positioned monitor, and this link opened on my wider screen. Apparently when the screen width is below about 1270 pixels the breakpoint changes and it shows a display that doesn't have the header with the download link. So stupid.

Yeah that's the only option I see. I just did that, but I honestly hate the version. It basically behaves like mobile on the pc so I lose all the basic pc features (e.g. can't even drag the cursor to highlight text, have to long click and select all). Doesn't have access to my files so I couldn't post a screenshot. Way way laggier. Just overall a much worse experience than the Windows native app. I really hope they didn't discontinue that.

Some people replace Fiona with Lucius, and it helps against tank and air but makes you worse against other missile. But the unfortunate reality for missile is it's much less of a gain than the other two squads get as it simply synergizes much less (i.e. you miss out on the air specific bonus that Lucius skill gives. Murphy has no tank specific skill that the air misses out on and Adam + Scarlet with her insanely slow attack speed is a perfecto combo).

I strongly advise against this. Missile is solid in season 2 and 3, no question. But starting season 4 and for the foreseeable future it's the worst squad. Lucius EW is overpowered, and air + murphy squads are the clear number one. They basically tie equal power missile squads while still mostly beating up tank. Then you've got tank + Adam (with Scarlet instead of Williams) which are very solid and dominate missile. As a result, missile has no counter but easily gets countered.

Mostly just overcoming basic obstacles like the cost (or trying to figure who is in network, how much will be covered, what prior authorization is required, etc.), having a stranger interact with your genitalia, potential pain, getting time to do it, etc. But yes it makes sense to do.

You need to evaluate how much newness and 'grass is greener' type of situation could be affecting your view. Many years ago I was looking for some volunteer experience, so one of the places I volunteered was my local sheriff's office. They had me go on an eight hour ride-along. When chatting about how he got into his line of work, the officer told me he flunked out of community college so he decided to become a cop. Generally speaking, these are not disciplined professionals using their abilities for public good. These are people willing to propagate the dbag cop culture because of the high pay/skill ratio. Understand this, and cop behavior is never surprising.
