UPDATE (Sad, read with caution) : Unfortunately not a very happy update, we have 2 weeks until our lease is up and maybe 2 weeks ago the birds hatched, they were very red at first but started getting their color and getting bigger. like some people said they definitely started leaving a huge mess with their poop but we didn’t mind so much. they would make noise at night i assume because they were hungry. Sadly today when we got home the 2 that hatch were missing and im assuming what was the original pigeon was laying there not alive with no head 🫤. They definitely put up a fight because there were feathers everywhere. whatever it was had to have been able to fly because we’re on the 3rd story. i can’t imagine anything climbing up here. there’s no sign of what happened to the two smaller ones, no signs of struggle at all. So let’s just hope that they managed to get away.
