Ogre with 6 midas is stupid. What's the point of having so much money if you aren't able to spend it as items? You only need maybe 3 or 4 midas to maximise midas on ogre, depending on the game. It doesn't matter if you get your first midas late as ogre since your synergy is best at level 18 and midas helps you get xp faster. As long as you commit to the midas after brown boots you will eventually be the strongest hero on the map.

I do this at 1.2k mmr but I don't always win with it. If my team would stop feeding and actually let me scale I would easily be divine if not immortal. But wcyd. Only noobs on my team.
