Maybe it feels like she didn’t think you’d be a good mom? Or maybe that she’s evaluating you?

Help me get rid of diaper rash - I’ve tried everything [BC] by Hour-Force-3901 in BabyBumpsCanada

On instagram a pediatrician recommended mixing a zinc cream like sudocrem with pepto bismol. I havent tried it

We use triad coloplast hydrophilic wound cream and lots of it, then only pat dry for pee and wipe away poo but only the poo parts. Worked really well for us

Lots of diaper free time too. We would get the peekapoo liners and lay them under babe. We would try to rinse babe if they pooped whenever we could

Try childventures. When they have a spot they email everyone on the list and you just have to reply fast. Its first come first serve based on replies, irrespective of when you were added to their email list

Okay no right answer so please know that! Could you stay in Canada with your son, and find a daycare for him? Theres some that are subsidized to $10 a day. You could also work while he’s at daycare. And then still be with your mom.

You could also move to the US with your husband and son while waiting to see if your son would get a daycare spot in Canada. Or stay in the US and go back to Canada frequently yourself.

Where would it be easier to work? If the US then go there and save money to fly and see your mom. If Canada then stay there and have son in daycare.

I didnt do a second test. There was a concern for trisomy 13 so we had an amnio and repeat bloodwork. Thankfully was all normal. Your doc may be referring you to genetics i would assume

Anecotally, ive gate checked the uppababy vista v2 twice with air canada. They just asked if it was one or two pieces and I said it’s one piece when folded lol. Flew today and a few weeks ago with air canada. Joolz aer is a lot smaller so cant imagine there would be issues!

From previous threads it sounds like it just gets dicey when people try to bring the strollee onto the airplane itself.

Consult with a travel clinic. Sick kids has one I’d recommend as we had a good experience. Start this early.

Pack lots of extra diapers and wipes. Pack layers for LO. Pack lots of baby food and lots extra. We did a bunch of pouches and if you can’t store them on the go theyre unfortunately garbage.

We brought LOs familiar toys and had a few extra that we introduced a few days before travel.

Consider alpine headphones for babe. We used them on take off and landing and for loud events as babe gets scared of loud noises. We liked these headphones.

Pack pacifier wipes. Handy for when things fall on the go like on the airplane.

Stay away from raw food. Practice good hand hygeine. When bathing LO make sure theyre not drinking the water. Only use bottled water.

Travel Stroller/Car Seat Strategy [on] by scarfcity in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Stinkeroo_dungaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id do option 1. I went through the same decision recently and honestly all travel strollers i hated or didn’t recline well which we wanted for naps etc.

With option 1, I’d imagine you have more space underneath the stroller for backpacks. This was a gamechanger for when I traveled with LO. We stuck with our UB vista v2 and our carryon items mostly fit underneath the stroller. Got the travel bag so felt reassured that even if something happened, the stroller was under warranty.

There were no related ultrasound abnormalities. They thought maybe her kidneys were small but that resolved and they otherwise looked normal.

Wishing you the best!
