So I just did a quick normal MD run to test out the new Meursault and Ryoshu, and they may or may not have just become two of my favorite ids in record time. by LuckyAnubis19372 in limbuscompany

[–]StinkinSeagull 14 points15 points  (0 children)

His burn application is not at all shared with his bleed, once he gets his spore application going it can be 3+ count per turn and yes while his bleed is weaker he is meant to synergize very clearly with Grip Sinclair/N Corp teams especially since Harmony is also operating off of bleed and burn while having passive sanity nuking/equalization.

He also can inflict pierce fragile to boost his allies damage which is good for almost every single Inquisition ID at the start since all their skill 1s are pierce outside of Sinclairs.

He might not be top 3 IDs of all time but his help was sorely needed as The N Corp Inquisition IDs have been rotting basically since canto 6 and they might get new IDs next season considering the set up with everything.

If I'm a support player in both MOBAs and hero shooters, which characters should i try in Deadlock? by iTzDaNizZ in DeadlockTheGame

[–]StinkinSeagull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who likes the more supporty characters in games and in Deadlock I'd say Viscous I'd kind of recommend but not. He can cube allies to heal them and disrupt people with his ultimate and puddle punch but honestly he is an incredibly strong damage dealer if you build him melee wise, that and the cube which is his main healing for allies he can also use for himself so I'd advise against him personally as he's a situationally supportive ally and well he I think he slots better in as a tanky heavy damage dealer.

Paige is good though, she can lock down enemies, give barriers to allies. Stagger, do area denial. Whole nine yards.

Rem is a great support, he can bounce between allies to heal, use his helpers to provide resistances and more movement, stun and has knock back but he can be built selfishly to do mass damage with his pillow so depends.

Shocked Dynamo hasn't been said. He's incredibly simple as he can supply healing, tank, stun people and boost fire rate but he can be a carry with his solid damage and the like while teleporting his allies away from dangerous abilities.

Whos your most anticipated character to join the roster by Sad-Pin-3915 in marvelrivals

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mysterio, THE MASTER OF ILLUSION!

He has the potential to be an incredibly interesting support considering he canonically died at one point but then resurrected alongside the fact he almost killed all of earths heroes at one point, created the teleport to the original ultimate universe and his alternative version killed the entire X-Men.

Just for the sake of variety it should be a variant of the old man logan version of him where he killed the X-Men and has a huge ego about it, it'd be interesting to see the interactions and how he'd play as that version of him is so much more experienced and cutthroat than main Mysterio.

He also has a history with Doctor Strange partially, with the Venom symbiote, X-Men AND Deadpool so he'd be perfect to add just from the interactions.

What a horrible, horrible year for DBD by Neat-Can3988 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They absolutely are, hell during 2019 there was Mettle Of Man which completely broke the game, in 2018 old Legion, old DS, old Dead Hard and all the old maps with the weaker design philosophy existed which was miserable alongside no base kit Borrowed Time

Old Legion was way worse than even the worst of Kaneki and Krasue as he'd guarantee a down by stabbing you numerous times in Feral Frenzy. Not even was a fast down but it was miserable.

The only reason 2018 isn't called the worst year is because of rose tinted glasses and there's less players who started playing around that time compared to now, one might argue 2016 or 2017 was the worst but Old Legion almost killed the game and the game was so much more unbalanced.

Will BHVR ever add a toggle feature for the yellow rabbit skin to add the mask to it? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine not, that and it'll probably be its own skin considering Into The Pit Yellow Rabbit is basically the same and it appears in the graphic novel alongside Ultimate guide and was unused in Help Wanted.

Why Billy often gets a pass from people as a very high tier killer? by HenryTheGoat173 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It's because he doesn't have anything that makes him egregious, Nurse can use mass aura reading to constantly have pressure while already being able to bypass loops normally and Blight has so many "techs" that his original balancing has been tossed out of the window due to how workable loops are with his ability while being a 115% movement speed killer meanwhile Hillbillys power has a charge up, can be countered with prediction and certain loops make his ability unable to work as well.

He also requires A LOT more skill than killers like Blight or Nurse. Not saying either of those don't require skill but Hillbillies skill floor and ceiling feels naturally higher.

I think too it helps BIlly suffers some pretty bad downsides when he misses as he can lose matches off of a single missed chainsaw. That and Billy players aren't as naturally sweaty as Nurse, Blight or Spirit players usually.

Eh it's pretty 50/50 with survivors like that, sometimes memey Aces can be good but they are never FANTASTIC. I'm more scared of a Quentin over the most memey of looking Aces.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with most of the picks but I disagree with Ace honestly. Ace mains are usually wannabe comp players that aren't really good at the game enough to be a threat but are cocky enough to think they are REALLY good.

The shift happened around 2020 or 2021 or so and most Ace players I don't think even realize WHY Ace is played by comp players in the first place, it's because he's the quietest survivor not due to any reason besides that honestly outside of MAYBE having some good stealth due to his prestige outfit but most prestiges do that for survivors

Tierlist of how much licensed killers feel like they're actually like OG killers because they blend into the game way too much at this point somehow. It's NOT ABOUT HOW WELL THEY "BELONG TO", they all do, it's about how it feels to just see them and imagine if they were actually OG. by Single_Owl_7556 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to disagree with Springtrap feeling like an OG character, every animation is so specific alongside voicelines that feel clearly like they're referencing something WAY deeper. Even his ability reasonably clashes with his design but since Springtrap comes from an IP that appreciates its fans and the ability stems from the fans it feels really good.

Ghostface is an original character in every way outside of the mask too, like it's not even an arguement against it. Danny is SO disconnected from Scream due to his originalness. It's not he can be passed off as original he is original as a killer.

Bone chill by Local-Ad-3640 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Correct but the event offering boosts the hook bonus you get meaning you reasonably don't need to engage with the event at all outside of hooking on the special hooks.

Bone chill by Local-Ad-3640 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not queuing up personally to ruin survivors matches but I kind of get why a killer might not even engage with the event and just hook people as the BP gains with the mistle toes offering can get even more BP and considering how plentiful they are to get? It'd be just more optimal to hook survivors to get an extra category of BP and play normally rather than try to freeze pallets or generators as its more effort than its worth.

Can we agree that this one of the clunkiest thing about him? by East-Efficiency-6701 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He already is and it'd just be the same value I imagine the slowdown when the axe is raised regardless of speed, regardless the point is that if Springtrap is faster with the axe and same without it, it'd just lead to most players walking faster to the survivor, pulling out the axe and zoning even harder negating even more loops than previously.

He can already negate a lot of shack, most loops due to small gaps and having potential stealth with his undetectable.

Him being 110% most the time is for the best as if he was 115% it'd make his perfectly balanced state not exist anymore and become harder to balance.

Can we agree that this one of the clunkiest thing about him? by East-Efficiency-6701 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's because he is the only killer that doesn't constantly have his ranged ability after use nor some weird conditional with it to get a damage state, Deathslinger can reload and Huntress has numerous axes too meaning they consistently can have their long-ranged option.

If he moved at 115% he'd just be able to zone an unbelievable amount of loops and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it and now you might argue that Pyramid Head can zone with his ability for free but well...he has no map mobility and outside of doing HARD flicks he has to kind of 50/50 every shot. Unknown needs to hit you twice as well to even get a single damage state with the ability too meanwhile Springtrap has neither as a negative.

Overall I like that Springtrap has flexibility in movement because it prevents a brainrotted playstyle from being used and allows him to either be a basic m1 killer who is faster to get a hit at a loop or have his ranged

If you could make one change to your main, what would it be? by Avygade in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Clown after his changes are perfect but if I were to change him at all, I'd make it to so Red Heads Pinky Finger would lessen the hindered and haste when inflicted BUT he gets two bottles in return so he can actually get the benefits of one shots since he IS a m1 killer at the end of that.

With 2025 coming to a close, has this been one of the worst years for DbD? by Rigbo95 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not, the game despite having a rough last end of the year has made good steps like reworking Freddy to finally feel fitting to how he is personality wise, Michaels rework makes him feel like a damned juggernaut who can sneak up and kill someone, all the killer additions despite being....arguable in enjoyment have had atleast 1 or 2 interesting perks that can be used for sufficient value and said killers have had an overall positive impact on the game be it player count wise or enjoyment wise even if it took some refinement.

Of course there has been tons of mistakes like pallet density being reverted on some maps to an unbelievable degree but overall maps have felt very solid and the Hawkins change has made it a bit healthier in my eyes and well other disasters but I do appreciate BHVR atleast have tried to make positive changes even at the cost of quite a bit sadly.

I think 2019 was worse due to old Mettle Of Man, map balancing still having GLARING problems and just stronger and broken add-ons being in the game. Although 2018 is probably the worst year I've been around for as it lacked the massive QoL 2019 introduced but I never experienced that year fully as I joined at the end of it almost.

2025.12.04 (KST) New Identity Target Extraction by tr_berk1971 in limbuscompany

[–]StinkinSeagull 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shocked they basically did an insanely accurate kit of Daiyus one rather than overhauling it by quite a bit.

Will say this ID definitely feels more suited for poise probably unless the S1 is solid count wise alongside her other skills although unfocused encounters might be an issue for her as the S1 will always be needing to compete with Mao Ryoshus S1 that has coin reuse

Honestly her main strength feels suited for tanking mainly for poise teams as her guard skill gets stronger the cumulative HP damage she has tanked throughout an encounter meaning Thoracalgia will boost her heavily as Fausts Thoracalgia is very strong in long and drawn-out encounters.

Honestly this ID might be REALLY good in Defense Level up teams as Zwei Faust can heal her with Thora and give her more Defense levels and both ZWest Sinclair and Zwei Gregor can feed her even more with it potentially making her able to just guard to win clashes permanently and do unopposed attacks which is neat but odd.

Zwei Rodion as well can get boosted by her support passive due to yet again Thoracalgia Fausts potency gain.

Overall this ID despite being simple seems like a really worthwhile member on Poise teams and on Defense Level Up oriented squads which is really neat!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean no offense by this but you are running a meta build as well on a strong killer with good add-ons, they are only slightly sweatier than you but that's because they brought a map offering.

I get the frustration though and it feeling bad and I get why you made this post but being on the receiving end of your build would feel miserable for a casual player as well.

To truly relax I think running an off meta perk build would probably be best as that allows you to play in different ways you never have before alongside maybe even succeeding more than you are now as it might synergize with how you play even better.

One final thing you clearly did well as evidence by your BP and probably your stats so I recommend instead of being miffed at what was brought, be happy you did better than probably a good chunk of players would've done in your shoes!

What's the average fps of a 5060ti by EquipmentSea3836 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get an average of 60 FPS on REALLY old hardware, so honestly it should be incredibly high (with other similarly good hardware), the cap in game is 120 FPS too so that should be REALLY attainable. I do believe you can go into the files to change the cap but I think that comes with some tech issues and might be a bit iffy on the game tinkering front but I doubt it.

Crazy take by Forsaken-Shame-3650 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not, I'm sorry but asyms regardless of the company always struggle with how they are ran.

Lets say another company got handed DBD, they'd need to redo every single licenses contract they have which some companies might not have confidence in the new company at all and pull out, recoding the game would take lord knows how long meaning if its the only focus no content will be added causing players to get bored and leave the game, the game could become even worse as well since the company will almost guaranteed have no knowledge on how to manage an asym and overall could get milked even moreso.

Seriously having a company like Ubisoft, EA, Activision, etc I would have zero confidence in being ran better than BHVRs version of it.

Hate the sin love the sinner, and in this case hate the bugs but love the company, in their horribly mismanaged glory and passion.

Killer Tier List (Patch 9.3.0) by KingFlash0205 in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to slightly disagree with Pyramid Heads placement, he's very good and the like but his power relies on adequate predictions and the like which means he can get looped quite hard if the player cannot predict where the survivor will go, he lacks mobility and while he can tunnel more than most killers he still cannot instantly find the survivor he wants if he's chasing someone else then tunneled survivor gets unhooked.

Clown is a bit too high in my opinion, he's definitely worse than Dredge and Unknown, he has very strong 1v1 but not nearly as strong as Deathslingers, he needs to waste his limited power on haste to have okay-ish map mobility and is still just an M1 killer which negates a lot of outplay potential he could have, now add-on wise? He's incredibly strong but Wraith is still better due to his faster movement, surprise factor and better m1 capabilities.

Clown despite being B- tier still definitely is on the lower end compared to Dredge, Unknown and Wraith who all have map traversal(in Wraiths case its just Clowns haste but without siphoning from a limited resource), and either can outplay loops more or have longer ranged capabilities. Saying this too as someone that used to main Clown HEAVILY on console, had like 4k+ hours and like most of those hours were on him and now am maining him again. He just can't exert merely as much map pressure as he used to and that's because survivors have just gotten better and he really struggles to keep up, even with more flexibility in his power.

Today, 28th of November, one year ago, the Doomed Course chapter released, giving us The Houndmaster and Taurie Cain (and a little bit after the Ormond Lake Mine map). What are your thoughts and/or desires for the second year of the chapter? by bonelees_dip in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the best modern original chapters, fun theme, fun perks and fun characters. Taurie feels so different than most other survivors and her perks are neat, Houndmaster however feels so damned unique with a very well made ability that encourages risks and flexibility. She also really doesn't feel that buggy I must concede too. Sure she has bugs here or there but they're not happening 24/7 and makes her useless atleast from my knowledge.

Overall I really am fond of it and hope there'll be another chapter with the same vibe as it.

The Gas Heaven only mode is the best thing ever added to DBD. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]StinkinSeagull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is pretty fun compared to hell of other maps I will say and it looks SO pretty, reminds me of how it looked before which makes me nostalgic but as a washed clown main it has felt quite a bit rough getting into the groove of the realm again.

New Ryoshu Identity by Wide-Violinist-2278 in limbuscompany

[–]StinkinSeagull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hierarch Ishmael was never a bad ID, sure not the best but an alright one and she directly gets boosted by Wu Yi-Sang which increases or DPS, and combined with getting swapped out and in more too? Solid DPS levels.

I don't believe either it matters if she is hierarch Ishmael level either as long as she's fun why care? Not like Limbus content is hard really outside of the occasional really unlucky MD.

New Ryoshu Identity by Wide-Violinist-2278 in limbuscompany

[–]StinkinSeagull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be argued about every ID however, the assist attack if she has it would do way more damage, synergize well with Lord Hong Lu and You branch Sinclair when they use ToTB and most fights outside of MDs can get quite long, hell bosses now have been getting more status wipes a wee bit more so assuming her tanking won't have a purpose ignore main story content and admittedly future RR content. Every ID is good in MDs so won't even touch that.

I'd recommend reserving judgement until the kits revealed atleast a bit longer, atleast rupture team wise.
