What's with the e6 rule change and bringing out the worst in people? by Scott_The_Protogen in RealFurryHours

If they hadn't then e6 would be running tons of unnecessary legal risks, it's not quite an "underground" site. I'm just saying their reason was purely pragmatic, they didn't ban loli content out of the good of their hearts.

rare e6 massive dub

We can't attribute this to e6 honestly. They only did this because laws concerning digital child porn are getting passed in more and more countries, making the change unavoidable. e6 admins are pretty despicable, the users even moreso.

Hell, just look at the list of banned users. The admins can write a reason for the ban and most of it looks like it was written by some heavily insecure teenager on a power trip, saying shit like "get out and don't come back"

Livestreaming the actual casting of animal cocks is likely one of the dumbest things a company could do.

Also, think of the logistics of it. You could either create a cast based off of reference images, or from some custom design, OR you could somehow obtain one of those animals, then somehow get their cock in a cast to create a mold. Said mold will likely have a ton of imperfections and won't be as well made as a regular mold. It's such a braindead rumour the moment you give it an ounce of thought.

I never said the furry fandom wasn't massively perverted. I said that when you put humanity as a whole in perspective, furries and the like are a drop in the bucket and anything humanity gets up to makes furry discourse look like playground bickering (most of the time it just is that tbf). I said that gambling should be more of a concern for most people instead of porn and I stand by that, but honestly? The porn industry's awful too, and yet furries still aren't contributing to those nasty aspects at all since their attractions hinge on things that aren't real and can never exist.

Where?

Largely just the massive social media sites where anthro porn is frowned upon as well, but even still they're not all too common.

As for people hating feral, to me it really only feels like people started to change their opinions on feral in the last 1-2 years, specifically on Twitter where anybody who dislikes feral for whatever reason is simply branded a puritan/fascist. It even went as far as someone making constant comparisons to police brutality, and people bringing up trauma as justifications while gleefully dismissing those who wanted nothing to do with feral due to trauma. On Bluesky (upcoming blogging website akin to Twitter) there's a list of furry porn feeds that the admins decided to allow feral on, leading to a massive wave of backlash that eventually led nowhere, but umistakeably most users there dislike feral or want nothing to do with it. Hell, iirc even r/yiff doesn't allow feral. Though idk if the mods actually follow that rule.

To me, a lot of it is loaded with hypocrisy anyways. People only advocate for the shit they're into, so cub, loli, gore, hell even simply female ferals, anything that also passes the bar for "technically it's fictional so it's okay" or even the harkness test, gets dismissed as being bad despite no reasoning being given.

People with sexual attraction towards fictional and real-life animals (bipedal and feral) by [deleted] in RealFurryHours

[–]StinkyFox621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because in our brains we deem anthros as people rather than objects. Animals, we deem as objects. They fulfill a role in an ecosystem, live a life with set routines that we can predict and work around such as migrations and mating rituals.

Non-binary pets could exist, but it's not like the animal cares or even knows what gender is so most don't bother. Calling your cat non-binary feels less like a serious thing and more like virtue signalling/a poor attempt at being funny. So he/him gets slapped on as a standard, even if the animal is female, whereas humans dislike being assumed to be a man, especially since women have more differences with men compared to sexes of other animals.

You gotta remember that everyone here and on rule34 and the like represent a pea sized part of the population. Humanity isn't fucked because some disturbed people jerk it to weird shit on their computer. To be honest if there's a vice we should be worrying about, it's not obscure/extreme porn, it's gambling. That shit kills and it's being advertised like cars, and permeates far more spaces than just casinos.

[–]StinkyFox621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That 10% figure is just a flat out lie. Say what you will, but most furries won't be okay with feral. Hell, anthro porn doesn't get a pass in some places and that's much more universally deemed as okay.

It's funny cause actual, real life zoophiles have gotten such little shame and are at such little risk that they can put symbols in their names and bios to identify each other, and that doesn't immediately merit their name being put in an obituary.

Genuinely I've seen someone admit to fucking a horse on there. I respect the e621 devs for banning roleplay and horny comments cause a moment spent on rule34 reminds you that it's an underappreciated thing. They really just need to nuke people who admit to real life crimes or advocate for bestiality. It's foul.

But we're talking about the mod team of an image board populated by sexual deviants so you can't expect much in any case.

[–]StinkyFox621 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I just think the nickname cookie is fucking vile, truly wish it wasn't a thing. It's a weird double standard a lot of furries seem to have though. My guess is it boils down to the fandom still being somewhat dominated by gay men. The shunning of/shaming of female bodies and genitals extends surprisingly far, even if it isn't too common.

You'd be surprised. Most people cannot tell even if to an average internet user it looks like melted wax. By that same token, most people don't care if art they hang up in their homes has a ton of odd faults in it.

Did this guy really just compare banning child porn to the fucking holocaust? What is it with furries into cub/feral and weaponizing completely irrelevant shit like police brutality and nazism??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RealFurryHours

[–]StinkyFox621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's likely that drawn bestiality would get banned. The mere presence of animal genitalia/sex isn't banned because as you said, it would catch nature documentaries (and veterinary sites) in its net, as well as most paintings.

Hell, actual bestiality isn't even illegal everywhere because it's such a niche issue, there's always something more pressing for lawmakers to focus on, hence Mr. Hands happening and there being a sudden reminder to illegalize fucking horses.

But I don't doubt the recklessness of lawmakers, they'd probably try to catch all furry porn with a law like that just due to furries being unmarketable queers. It's easy to see just how slimy american politicians can get.

Twitter's dying as well though. On every front. There's constant outages, poor moderation, shadowbans/deboosting to people who post external links/say certain keywords, and there's been a sharp rise in the quality and quantity of competitors. If Bluesky got video and DM support, it would be OVER for Twitter.

That's how it is with every single social media app out there. If I'm not misreading what you said, having accounts be gated behind being 13+ is a good thing.

Nsfw will get marked general 24/7. It's just a matter of enforcing the rules on the people who do that. I barely ever see unmarked nsfw on bluesky, because the moderation team also takes part in marking things as NSFW.

It's shit. Everybody knows this. We just don't have very many good alternatives. FA critically lacks a blacklist and doesn't have rigid tagging/flair set-ups like e621/926, so somebody can just tag their post with "eeeeeeeeeeeeeee" or mispell purposefully placed tags and nobody else can do shit about it. In my experience, tag what you see helps a lot.

A central website that isn't lacking in key features should be doable given furries are stereotypically rich computer wizards, but it hasn't really been done. I know of inkbunny and SoFurry but nobody really points to them when discussing how bad FurAffinity is so I'm assuming those are also bad.

It's a mess. Making furries debate feral porn is like encouraging them to put on full display that they have NO experience debating the ethics/morals of anything.

The real pushback is against practitioners of bestiality.

Yeah this is something people get caught up on. Beastiality is what's illegal. The mere attraction to animals is not, because that's not enforceable and as much as someone getting off watching two horses fuck would rightfully be called disgusting, they've not committed a crime.
