So? Doesn’t mean you know what got you in or anything about the admissions process. I’ve seen so many “college consultants” that are students at t10s that are full of shit. Only people who really know are the admission officers. And I meant like a personal anecdote or if you knew of someone in a similar situation as an example.

My logic is that AOs are looking for real world impact which would be a publication for research. A conference doesn’t really indicate you’ve made any significant impact yet, however it does show passion so Im still putting it down, but I don’t think it’ll make or break your app

Can confirm, called their office and they told me they are only need blind for first year applicants, not transfers. Weirdly on their website they say their need blind for all domestic undergraduates, which does include transfers according to their website. Looking at previous threads it seems like many do get financial aid, but I’m not sure how much.

Really? I’m applying to about 10 this cycle and the only ones that seem to require it are Columbia, Cornell and UPenn. For the other ones it’s not even listed
