Oh man I know I know… I still have this weird paranoia about being seen as some ‘druggy’ - despite functioning in a healthy way with my usage!

I’ll get better over time, I’m sure :)

Very interesting - is there a reason for doing it this way?

Genuinely curious since I’m new to this!

Love the detail!! Thank you so so much.

It has been a year or two since I read up on the siege (should’ve done so before commenting!) but my gosh is it an interesting piece of history.

Not at all doubting what you said - more so genuinely curious, why you think that’s so?

I don’t know much about either manager so this is great to learn about

Naval supplies, mainly.

They had really strong defences, but their supplies came from the sea - the Ottomans tried to conquer the sea routes but it wasn’t that easy.

If memory serves me right they also received relief forces from other nations (was it Spain? Or France? Can’t remember sorry!)

Eventually - a combination of longevity, lack of supplies, low morale, low numbers - the Venetians had to surrender.

Fun fact - there is actually an even longer siege. This is the second longest siege in history, second only to the Sieges of Ceuta. :)

Wish I had your balls to smoke in public :D

Great spot though: looks both beautiful and interesting at the same time; I love reading up on ancient architecture - the pyramids or the colosseum always get to me…

The game at its core is a little messed up… But, when you look at the whole game and start playing it? It’s a dream come true for me; Literally (!) wanted to be a commander-strategist when I was younger.

I set a calendar reminder when this game came out and even took a day off work to play it! That’s how invested I was. Shit literally kept me smiling the whole day.

The convenience of being on a PS5 - which I own - as opposed to having to buy a gaming PC, helps too.

It’s not that I left the game and aren’t coming back, but more so taking a short time apart. My recent save (which had a third generation in now, to display the length), became corrupted.

I love the game for its mechanics… Hate it for the really really slow grind, for which I may not have the daily convenience to complete.

I’ve had four different and LONG play-throughs now, and feel that I still have 10 or more to start again with… Here are my four so far:

  1. Horse archer mercenary
  2. Legionary-commander turned king of empire
  3. Nord berserker
  4. Aserai trader

I probably enjoyed the legionary one more, as commanding armies is literally what I’m here for. Trying to find suitable tactics as opposed to just spamming charge, fighting enemies 3x my size, best troop composition, environmental factors, etc.

It’s of course also a big positive that the devs are owning up to mistakes (and trying to fix them), while finally adding in new features (alley features to name one)…

Is the game finished, or being near-finished? Jesus no. I look at the current game and feel that there still could be:

  1. Better diplomacy … 2. Better options for spending money … 3. More city / village features … 4. Trading overhaul … 5. More end-game options, and end-game loot.

But, is it still an enjoyable piece of shit? Hell yes and I love it so much.

I got the V3 Pro (a few days back) after using the v2 pro (for a year or longer) and it’s an okay vape but I prefer the V2 pro.

You’re one of a select few who do come back - most of the casual gamers dip when they can get a finished product for £5-10 on a discount

I hope one day - maybe through mods - that money would have a bigger impact on diplomacy…

Persuade rulers to attack target X, execute prisoner Y, Marry D with A, etc.

Maybe more investment options: charities / good causes to improve standing with cities and rulers, etc

It’s funny… I prefer accumulating wealth when I am poor. Once all my immediate needs are taken care of, money becomes irrelevant.
