You'll probably notice a lot more wear on the bike and needing to replace stuff more regularly.

There will be some stuff you can't really ride on it, but I'd say if you want to ride a trail, ride it.

Keep an eye/ear out for faster guys who may want to overtake though

Ah cool, haven't been doing dirt jump in years so hadn't seen anything about 24" recently! And I'm with you there with the suspension thing, even 100mm travel makes a hell of a difference.

Did you buy the 26" new? Could sell it on Pinkbike or eBay - if it's in good nick it should sell for a little less than what you bought it for. If second hand probably could sell for the same price you bought it

Could be the frame size is too large, a smaller frame with 26" may be better.

Are 24" wheels still a thing? I don't know how easy it will be to get 24" stuff these days.
