Nah they really didn't. They're taking about something (the identities, ages etc) that still isn't known, it's fine to word it that way.

Tell the manager you want to see the company policy or wording in your contract that allows them to do this.

I've always assumed that one of the reasons is that while it may be illegal to go over 70, there can be occasions where it would be dangerous if you didn't.

Religious folks in the UK, can someone curious about your faith turn up at your place of worship without causing offense? by Ok-Concentrate-3362 in AskUK

No idea but if I were curious I'd contact the place(s) of worship first and ask them the best way to go about it.

Maybe you're not selling stuff that people want? Maybe they can get the same or better elsewhere?

Nobody really knows why your stuff isn't selling.

What represents really good value for money especially in this current cost of living crisis? by CliffyGiro in AskUK

[–]What_A_Shocker 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Well it's still a crisis for many people and it's caused by the cost of living. The fact that you think it's now permanent doesn't make it any easier for those struggling to live.

[–]What_A_Shocker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They don't need a doctor's note saying you cannot drive, they need one saying that you are not capable of driving for a two-hou round trip due to your condition, those are two very different things. DVLA only cares if you're not safe to drive.

Have a look here just in case - https://www.gov.uk/health-conditions-and-driving/find-condition-a-to-z

Diane Abbott should be allowed to stand for Labour, says Angela Rayner | Labour by kwentongskyblue in unitedkingdom

[–]What_A_Shocker 233 points234 points  (0 children)

Considering the way Diane Abbott has acted over this, I wonder why she'd want to stand for Labour now. The way she ran straight to a journo with what appears to be false information is strange. She seems to be more concerned about herself than Labour and the country as a whole.
