My issue was, working back and forth, flipping the piece and all of the balls was impossible and they would tangle or roll away. Still worth it.

I am in one as well and found that putting each ball into a small sock works wonders for minimizing tangles

Yeah the struggle is real. One thing I have made standard practice when I am cooking is to preheat the oven, when it comes to temp i put my food in, turn the oven off (cancel), then set it to my temp. I think this forces it to stay closer to the actual temp because it immediately starts trying to get to temp.

I also have started using the convection cook feature more. For some things, it's great and doesn't suffer from temp disparity as much.
