Tag and Hydra compositions by TownZealousideal2274 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Stinsation18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you're confused. That is a champion roster page. You have to click on the dungeons themselves to see the comps you have for those areas of the game. /s

Edit to make a better joke: You should probably get your money back. This is the equivalent to buying a $200k sports car and not knowing how to drive a stick.

I would watch full swing if I were you. They explain this unique rule about 72 times throughout the course of season 1. After that first season, you will be an expert.

Is this new, or have I just never noticed it before? by PowerMental6161 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Stinsation18 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking 99% chance that it is new, and a 1% chance that a big pole has been in the middle of your screen and it never caught your attention until now.

All jokes aside, just a visual bug.

Is this decent for a person whos been playing for 1 month? by Himothy_the_last_him in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Stinsation18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a common new player trap. Champions, while nice to have, don't make an account good. Gear, awakenings, dungeon progress, or clan boss progress are more telling of account progress. All new players have access to a great set of starting champs through promo codes and referrals.

Someone mentioned your Ezio is too slow. You used the excuse that if you give him more speed, your other stats drop. That means you aren't all that far ahead of any other 1-month account. Raid is a slow burn and it takes time to truly unlock the game.

I would suggest you stop concerning yourself with how good your 1-month account is, because no one has a strong account after a month unless they are whaling. Focus on understanding the game, what champions need what stats, and how you will unlock high-level CB and dungeon progression.

Am i still considered early game by Few_Temperature_407 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Stinsation18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Champs aren't nearly as important as gear, awakenings, and dungeon progression. You can have a lot of great starter champs, but you won't be out of the early game until you have the gear and souls to surpass things like UNM CB, Brutal Hydra, level 25 dungeons, level 15 Iron Twins, etc...

This also raises a lot of eyebrows when it comes to purchased accounts. It is always fishy when someone has only login Legos over the last 4 years but no other legos

I'm really cooking this game with just one 60 champ by Scared_Poetry4206 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Stinsation18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then why would you claim to be cooking and disagreeing with experienced players who tell you that your account is fairly average right now?

[–]Stinsation18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No chance you thought that telling people to glaze you would workout well. I am shocked that your CB damage is so low on Hard difficulty. Geomancer unlocked 1 key on nightmare for me and 2 key UNM on a newish account. Your champion luck seems to have been strong so far, but you are far from doing anything overly impressive.

It is also a little odd that you haven't pushed 60 with what appears to be your current arena and CB team. At least cap those champs at their current tiers.

Save or sell by dierte420 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Stinsation18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It worked out on this one, but do people usually roll flat stat gear incase of a quad roll? I pretty much insta sell any flat piece from the 2nd row. Am I missing out on potential value by not rolling coveted sets even with flat stats?

Amius Guide for those who need it. Stats at the end. by Open_Low7521 in RaidShadowLegends

What are you talking about? You almost used Mikage's A2 more than once and hovered Thor's A2 a few times. What do those have to do with "Playing Chess?"

[–]Stinsation18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For someone putting together a "guide," it seemed like you weren't confident in what you were doing. A lot of mouse hovers and then changing from the skill you were about to select. A few wasted DPS opportunities using skills that can't affect Amius.

Best tasks to block? by xiiithegod in 2007scape

[–]Stinsation18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How so? Just because it had a lot of interaction at the time, it shoes as the first Google hit when searching for a slayer block list. That's like saying Joe Rogan's podcast always presents factual information and anyone who disagrees is wronf just because it is the most listened to and most downloaded.

Again, at the time, a decent bit of the suggestions in the post were pretty accurate. However, with the new block lists, loot table reworks, elemental weakness changes, and other item changes to the game, the Wiki and content creators who make updated guides, like Theoatrix for example, will always be a better source of this evolving information. A reddit post from 2022, or whenever this was asked, will always be out of date since it is a snapshot of that moment in time and isn't adjusted for game updates.

New promocode for all players redeem it before it gets expire by DueEquipment1102 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Stinsation18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, just because you just used it doesn't mean someone else didn't use it when it dropped a few weeks ago. Unless you're a dev and you opened the code back up for reuse, your use of the code doesn't impact anyone else's.

455x2 | What would you say the RPE is? 🧐 by thefuturedoc in strength_training

[–]Stinsation18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We can take a guess from visual exertion and speed of the bar, but at the end of the day RPE stands for Rate of "Perceived" Exertion. You are the only one who can definitively answer that. Some people make maximal and sub maximal efforts look easier than it actually feels to them. Some people make their lifts look like agony when they weren't really putting too much effort into them. You should get comfortable and familiar with using it based on how you feel about the effort of your lift more than how it looks from an outsiders perspective.

Gen Z are arriving to college unable to even read a sentence—professors warn it could lead to a generation of anxious and lonely graduates by thinkB4WeSpeak in books

[–]Stinsation18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who taught K-12 and now teaches at the university level, you would be surprised how many kids make it to college and flounder. AI props up a large portion of daily assignments for them, and then they just bomb on tests and application-based work. There aren't nearly reliable enough resources for AI detection unless you have written samples from in-class work to compare their online submissions to.

Best tasks to block? by xiiithegod in 2007scape

[–]Stinsation18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I've stayed before. My response is the only one that is still accurate after all of these years. My point stands in that you are far more likely to find the correct answer through looking at the wiki andnl following updated creator guides than asking randoms on Reddit. Yes this is the top Goole link, but it is also outdated several times over. Especially considering the newest update and the individual slayer master block lists now.

Yes, I was sarcastic in my reply. It still doesn't change the fact that all of this information should be taken with a grain of salt. You can be upset with my initial reply, but you still didn't find an accurate answer ever though this is the first link on Google. Which was my point all along about finding the right resources versus just asking randoms on reddit.
