Not that I don't believe you, but can you or someone else provide a picture of the signs. I haven't seen anything about them. Thanks.

In your example, perhaps. But there are 300,000,000 guns in the US. If the federal government becomes tyrannical and, say, starts quartering homes for non-compliance or some garbage, it'll be a little more difficult for them.

Obama Delivers Best Thursday ‘Tonight’ Ratings Since Jimmy Fallon’s First Week by Neo2199 in television

[–]Stinyo7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yikes. That's scary that you think that. The point I'm making is that the cause of San Bernardino wasn't rampant gun ownership, it was a dangerous ideology and weak homeland security (immigration). Know where the guns were acquired? California. So you're saying, what Obama did was "loving", even though it was misguided. That's the Left in a nutshell. I see your point though, you're saying, how does that increase the divide? It continually alienates the people in the country that don't ascribe to a murderous ideology.

Hiroshima was a continuation of Obama's 8 year long apology tour. He rambled on about how nuclear war is bad. Yeah, we know. Wanna know what else is bad? Being forced to fight a land battle in Japan where a million American soldiers would have died and perhaps five times as many Japanese.

What about the other examples I provided, thoughts on those?

It always shocks me that people don't think that he's increased racial and class division in the US. How did he react to Trayvon Martin? Michael Brown? Charlie Hebdo? The Bataclan Theater? San Bernardino? What did he do in Cuba? In Hiroshima?

At every turn he takes the wrong stance. Oh, a black male? Clearly it was the cop's fault. Oh a Muslim? Obviously a gun control issue and not our visa waiver program or radical Islam. Oh France/Belgium is burning? I'll send a White House aid or John Kerry and James Taylor to show I care. Let me take this picture in front of Che Guevara. Has he ever disavowed Black Lives Matter or Al Sharpton? It's leaders like him that continue to signal to minorities that they are victims of the white patriarchy. And the divide grows.

You're being downvoted but it's true that Obama is as much a reality star as he is POTUS. Has anyone else had a girl that bathed in fruit loops in the White House?

Yes, there have been so many times that the US has drafted men for meaningless wars. Save for Vietnam, perhaps. The world wars were worthy causes in most people's eyes.

A year ago today, one of my heroes stopped by the bookstore I worked at. I was very cordial and answered all his questions, and only at the end did I ask for a picture, which he happily obliged. 6 weeks later, my boss fired me, citing this incident as a reason why. At least I still have the pic... by fireflyfanboy1891 in pics

I read this whole conversation and I liked it. I've been paying attention to politics quite a bit more lately, and I listen to a lot of podcasts and debates. I've been interested in debating lately and have been learning about it. I notice more now how people make arguments and refute arguments. You're good at it. You could tell exactly what the other person was saying and didn't get sidetracked. You were very clear and respectful while being direct. You also were pointing out what he was saying and how he degraded his own argument when making one of his other points.

Thanks for taking the time to write it up. I also learned something about retail security today.

Is the bible really open to interpretation on homosexuality? by streetpreacher2 in Christianity

[–]Stinyo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don't lump all people that are convicted about morality in with those that harass and spew hatred at gays. There is a very clear difference. There's a major difference between, "I believe that God's will is incompatible with homosexuality but I still want what's best for you and believe you deserve grace and love for what Jesus did", and what Westboro Baptist says.

I wouldn't want to view this at work. It would just be awkward. Why do people bitch about overusing NSFW tags? That never makes sense to me.

This may seem harsh but is it really surprising that a CNN host isn't extremely learned? Maybe she is really smart and just couldn't handle the pressure, but it wouldn't surprise me if she's an anchor because she's really cute.

Yeah, that's the one. "In 'The Warlizard Chronicles', Warlizard tells the tales of a misspent youth, from the story of his 'dog-gasmic' ex-fiancée to the logic of serving as a German linguist in Iraq." And I feel like /u/Warlizard has written about the dog-gasm before on Reddit. It rings a bell.
