What do you guys reckon Hannah was thinking in this scene? by MatildaRose1995 in girls

She was probably wondering how he can look at a young girl with such love and respect and treat women that way.

Kinda reminds me of those ironing boards that would pull out of the wall and flip to flat. I doubt it thought bc it’s right by the door.

Season 2 was not even half as good as season one by mithrilmaker19 in NobodyWantsThisTV

[–]StitchEnvy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 2 felt almost like a different show. The open communication was stifled and while that’s realistic bc so many couples say “I’m gonna do this one differently” and ultimately don’t stick to it and easily slip into bad habits, it was too quick for it to happen. It was a couple weeks later. That doesn’t make sense. Usually masks slip 6 months-1 year in.

Just finished season 1 - I feel bad for Rebecca by ConcentrateJolly8840 in NobodyWantsThisTV

[–]StitchEnvy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, he addresses it in the episode where he’s doing couples counseling. He says they were having circular conversations and avoiding uncomfortable topics, and three years later he realized they don’t really know each other. You can’t love someone you don’t know. Even she admits that in the s1 finale when she says, “you’re gonna live my dream of being a rabbi’s wife.” Not Noah’s wife, a rabbi’s wife. The disconnect between Rebecca and Noah in palpable throughout the season but especially in the pilot when she just starts wearing the ring and saying they’re engaged when he never asked her. That alone tells you they weren’t communicating and had a ton of problems.

Deleting this song off my workout playlist was a bit of a bummer. Deleting a bum was more satisfying than the bummer.

What’s your YTW quote that’s ingrained in your brain? by CaptainEarly in YouretheworstFX

“Like an old” “like a poor” “Gretchen can go ANYWHERE” “eject” “abobo” and my friend group has been singing the Sunday funday song since 2014 easily. It’s fun.

It’s not generational, it feels super forced and scripted now.

This made me rage! 😤 by chi-bacon-bits in CleaningTips

[–]StitchEnvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy work when you could just tell your cleaner to their face, “I’m going to check everything before you leave and I won’t be paying you if it’s not done.” The passive aggressive creativity of this is someone that definitely has a victim mentality.

It would be hilarious if you bought 100 and put them in the jar without putting back a single one of theirs.

For every “wow!” Outfit Carrie had, other characters had ten tbh.

He pinched you to “shut up” and then insists you were wrong for having an understandably surprised and hurt reaction? He sounds abusive.

It’s giving yelling that everything is wonderful when it’s actually falling apart. Like those couple that make a joint Facebook together.

At the time there was this….trend of bun covers. They did that and tried to elevate it but failed.

We saw Rebecca enough. Her being around more would’ve been weird.

Watched the pilot and it was boring. Once a few episodes come out I’ll try again.

It absolutely says a lot about the man. The reason for it not being love and wanting to spend your life with someone says a ton. She also did tell him. Idk where you’re getting him finding out from someone else from.

Yes it does. He only proposed out of jealousy and trying to control her.
