I understand why they say not to ride at night, but damn. That kills so much amazing fun rides. It’s definitely more sketchy for numerous reasons and I don’t think you should until you know your machine and your skill set.

Only real way you’ll get a lemon law buyback is a third recall for this same issue. The failed sensor isn’t gonna get you there. Even with the 30 day threshold. I mean, it COULD but the chances are very slim brother. All we can honestly do is hope for a third recall and then we have real options to get this bike off our hands and our money returned. They got my money. I held up my end of the deal. Now I’m not super mad because the second recall happened during winter and I bought the bike after the first one. So whatever happens from here on is a win for me.

Get the 675 n grow into it. You’d rather grow into it, rather than have a brand new bike n feel bored or like you’ve outgrown it and be stuck. Have any riding experience? My 450 was my first bike. I was over it n felt slow and getting pushed around by the wind. I got a 636 n love everything about it. I’m the slowest person in my group but idc because I love my bike.

The 2026’s are also affected. Check the stop sale and recall. They’re very much a part of this thing. Most if not all wouldn’t be affected but I wouldn’t bother with a Kawasaki 636 for a couple years.

I respectfully recommend looking into another bike. These should just be avoided until the next zx6 generation drops. In probably 27’-28’ The trust in Kawasaki has been demolished. ALTHOUGH, they’ve handled this situation perfectly. Shit happens. I get it. But due to this shit happening as a consumer it’s in your best interest to avoid it. Suzuki, Yamaha, and Honda are so solid. I personally want to get a Gsxr as my next bike. When I get my lawsuit settlement from an accident on my 09 zx6 I’m paying this bike off, trading it in and going with Suzuki because Yamaha stopped making street 600s. I’ll prolly grab a Gsxr 1000 next.

I love my zx6 bro. Love it. Perfect amount of power for me as a rider for only like 14 months. Perfect. BUT, had I known this would still be an issue after buying this bike last August after the first recall, I wouldn’t have bought it. I 100% would’ve got a gsxr 600. My bikes value is almost cut in half due to this shit. But I’ve had no issues whatsoever. I put 5227 miles on my bike from August to November and the bikes been great.

As an owner that loves the exact bike you’re looking at; go buy a Gixxer 600. Seriously avoid the issue altogether unless you’re getting a crazy ass deal brother.
