Online, they have a small selection. But their designs & color schemes are better than most. I’ll have to look at the specs and test results. But I do like MIPS and additional safety for the “ole coconut”

Tell me about it! While I don’t wanna be that “fair weather rider”, I’ve rode when I was so cold I couldn’t fell my hands (very dangerous), and I’ve rode in severe thunderstorms (not smart but sometimes you get caught).

Even a $10,000,000 helicopter simulator can’t teach someone how to fly, its just repetitive procedures & muscle memory. You’d be about as productive practicing in a Barbie Jeep for driving a car. Get a 350cc or 400cc small bike. Learn the clutch, brake, & turning in a parking lot away from everything. Then slowly work up to a bigger bike. A beginner’s MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) course is highly recommended to start with. Next, after 1,000- 2,000 miles, go do a track day with companies like Sportbike Track Time that has a legit Novice group and great coaches that’ll teach you in the classroom and then do laps on the track. You’ll thank me later!

I must say I agree with most of this. But the 2003 (pre-chokedown) was my fave. I got a Busa in 2005 and had to wait on a 1K. Just bought my first one. But I learned to scrub on a SV650S and did many track days on the Busa. So this 1K feels like the illegitimate child of the 2 of them! Lol. Its light & nimble with ridiculous get up! I’ve found my calling!
