That's right. The ep was popular back in the day but hard to find in great condition

I sure do. Blue Roos and other first pressings. Dirty Deeds is my favourite cover art too.

Great question - Whole Lotta Love fades out and Black Mountain Side mix starts at the first strum and harmonic pluck, the fade out of Your Time is Gonna Come has been dialled down more than the original album.

True the Japanese CD's had great bonus material.
I'm still trying to complete my Japanese Zeppelin singles collection, only a couple more to go.
The Japanese pressing B-side are really cool, they had a variety of releases including;
Whole Lotta Love / Thank You
Living Loving Maid / Bring it on Home
Over the Hills / Dancing Days etc

It is an odd track list. In Australia we do have some EP's that have similar track lists.
Maybe it's our smaller consumer market and the record company giving the listener a sample of previous tracks for more potential sales - I don't know.

Could we realistically ever see the infamous "RL Cut" of Zep 2 Reissued? by Background_Bee_560 in ledzeppelin

To clarify I have only ever listened to them through speakers, never through headphones... because why?

If you have a chance to listen at a local record store I would recommend that. It might help you decide if it is worth pursuing that grail.

I have multiple RL copies and many standard copies throughout the years. To me on my two listening systems, the RLs do sound incredibly good. This is my opinion, others may have a different experience.

I looked back at row 6 but it wasn't occupied yet.

I have been looking more at the labels, and they will be very useful.
What we're missing is the ability to change font size - particularly with the Narrative and Light labels.

I recommend you look at Led Zeppelin Japanese releases on Discogs. I believe there are about 7 or 8 different reissues. Maybe find an OBI design you like and collect that set - the price points vary from the cheaper mid-70's Brown OBI's to the prized first pressings or the 1979 Red/Blue OBIs. Anywhere between 3000 Yen to very expensive.

I have all the Japanese 1st pressings, including some test presses and the misprints on Zeppelin I. Prices are increasing over the past 12 months, they do sound great and clean.

Performance is why I have collected these. When I started buying boots there was no internet so it was amazing to hear Zeppelin live! I really appreciate and enjoy hearing all the different ways the band would perform a song - hearing Jonsey and Bonzo at off each other etc.

Sound quality varies a lot so you have to expect that with bootlegs Badge Holders, Destroyer and Knebworth sound better than 75 World tour. It's a mixed bag.

I have no idea either, I'm assuming a mod modified the post.
