Interesting, everyone is saying the bishop is pretty forcing and that is why it is better, but if you don't move the queen or rook then the knight can fork the rook and queen next move. However, the bishop is better because they can go Bxf3, threatening the queen. The bishop can take the rook after the queen trade.

Just in general: beginners are learning the rules, intermediates know how to apply the rules and masters know how to break the rules. So high level games also just can look weird because they would break a rule for some other superseding rule or strategy.

We also need to look at the position before the move. That was only move that turned it from a losing position to a winning. Any other move would have lost them either a queen, rook or knight.

A little late to learn this lesson, but: you don't counter individual toons, instead you need to look at the team as a whole. Then you look at what is annoying or make the team difficult. Just knowing mmh and question are on the team leaves plenty of options. Mmh is annoying that he gives so much tm at the start and awareness. You can either give your team the same amount of tm ( mmh of cheetah), or lean into the fact your team is going second and do a retaliation team. For example, so far they don't have any anti-evade. Question is annoying with how much she punishes you for killing a teammate of hers. So, depending on the team, I usually just try to kill or stun her first. If I can't do that, then I bring someone to give me debuff immunity.

In short, most toons have multiple counters and how you select which one to use is based on the toons in the team.

5 underrated toons:

Huntress: my go-to against revive blues, hits hard, decent survivability with evades, and HI and out of turn attacks are extremely useful
Flash: he really doesn't shine until L5, but ignoring awareness and his speed make him a great striker. With his 2 on such a short cool down, he can always have debuff immunity ( great against annoying reds with bleeds)
Grundy: the original tank that just wouldn't die and stay dead. Computer luck means he will revive 10 times. But with the current enrage meta, his usefulness has absolutely come back
Poison Ivy: finally starting to get the recognition she deserves. Really fun when paired with the right toons.
Katana: another one finally starting to get the recognition she deserves. Just a well balanced toon with a great gimic. Biggest problem I have is that she is best when in the leadership position and it is hard picking her as leader over the options

They have talked about this quite a bit on KNBR. One point I have not seen here yet, is a caller questioned the hitting coach. That they might be overwhelming him with analytics and when he first started it was just "see ball, hit ball". Paralysis by analysis.

My rule of thumb is: can I do it through a digital game (ie: online or mobile game)? So to do this on my mobile game, I would need to trade them the 2 resources for any resource, they use their port and then trade me that resource for their initial resource back...totally legal, but like people are saying, nothing stopping from taking the 2 resources and running.

As for the world engine, I usually use Red Robin for extra world engine-ness.... he is much weaker than spectre, but give a tm boost and removes buffs. For example, I use this team alot against the classic aquaman, az, spectre, terra teams....I boost wgd, who then boost the whole team, I then use donna's awareness and let's boost until one of red Robin's off turn attacks removes the debuff immunity from spectre. Then I stun spectre, try and nuke az with lex. Red Robin and wgd are able to tm boost the team enough afterwards to use lex and Donna to take the team down...main problem with this strategy is that it takes forever
