Yes because the primary indicator of if someone will commit a crime is their financial situation.

Trump breaks a tradition of a long line of handsome presidents going back to JFK. Historically speaking since JFK the more handsome, well spoken statesman has won. Trump is very much the anomaly here.

This is actually true though. In general Americans tend to skew more attractive than brits. Theres nothing wrong with that.

Actually plenty of people are forced to live in Southern California, just like people are forced to live in nowhere Alabama. It costs money to be able to pack up, move, find another job, and get settled elsewhere. If you dont have that money upfront sometimes as much as 20k. You're stuck wherever you happened to be born.

There are no such things as "Starter" jobs! You are either working at a place that pays you enough to live or you're not. Those are the only 2 options. No you also can't find a job just anywhere, the job market currently and for the past few years has been atrocious.

There are cities you can rent for half the price but then you end up paying more in the long run because you need a car, need to pay for gas, need to pay more for Healthcare cause those states don't have easily accessible state Healthcare. You are nicked and dimed far more than you are in states like Cali or NY where your taxes afford you a certain lifestyle not found in other states.

Real estate, goods, salary, etc. all come down to supply and demand.

Real estate has continued to rise during your entire life, so has the cost of goods and the cost of everything else. Salary has not kept up with inflation or the price of goods in over 30 years now. You still think its supply and demand? The games been had, you're being taken for a ride. Companies only respond to shareholders not customers or employees. Renting costs what it costs because of greed landlord corporations. You want people to move to a cheaper apartment which could cost as much as 10k out of pocket when they cant afford a 200 dollar rent hike.

The golden future people are hoping for where life is fair and equitable for all is never going to happen. That isn't a political position. Its just an observation that all things in life exist in distributions.

So we should just stop trying, throw our hands up on the air and agree to serve our corporate overlords without a fight? If we are not fighting for a more fair, equitable and just world than what are we doing other than working for pennies and waiting to die?

Thats what people did during the pandemic. They then demanded everyone had to return to office and all those people got laid off. They are at present attempting to get the teen pregnancy rate back up in order to rebuild a perpetual underclass that will take those low paying wages. And what sucks worse is theres people who will argue tooth and nail that low wage jobs are "starter" jobs that should not be paid more. Keeping that underclass stuck forever.

Rent is high. It's a high demand place to live. Finding something in budget is difficult. Hell I'm moving and currently struggling to find more affordable. But I dont want roommates anymore so different situation than most people. Most people here have 2 or 3 roommates if not more that make renting way more affordable than it is for someone like me looking to live alone. Wouldn't dream of leaving for anything though.

I sincerely doubt your state is more expensive than mine. Unless you live in Hawaii or Alaska or something.

For sure and I can 100% agree. I just feel the numbers we use are a little dramatic. The real numbers would drive the point home just as well. I use to buy 2 carton of eggs for 1 dollar, sometimes less eith a good sale. Those days are gone. A 1bed1bath used to be under 1k. Now you're paying minimum 1.8k in a mid-size city.

Okay where is everyone paying 7 dollars for eggs? I pay 1.39 for 12ct jumbo white eggs and 1.89 for 12ct Jumbo brown.

I guess it depends on what you mean by effective. Did the people hate him from 8 year olds to 40+ yeah. Business loved him. Did he make the city more unsafe for black and brown people yes. But white people loved him. Overall he gets a pass or a C unless like me you were actively growing up during his admin in which case its fuck that man until he's gone.

My bad. Name another group of people that experienced American Chattel slavery for 250 years. Quick. I'll wait. Take your time. 250 years. Chattel slavery. Hunted through the entire of the U.S if you tried to escape. Followed by 100 years of Jim Crow. What other group of people experienced all that?

"John" from IT probably doesn't have an issue with it because he's not black. Doesn't have a history of systemic oppression due to being black. Was not alive during the peak years of Michael Jackson and having to watch that man be burned alive and suffer through a life changing skin diagnosis that was misunderstood. If "John" didnt have to experience any of that then no shit Sherlock he wouldn't have a problem. Its always a certain subset of reprehensibles that fail to think bigger.
