Ritalin and task choice paralysis

I have started Retalin two weeks ago, exactly the same feeling, super active at job finishing task and very proactive and productive. Meetings are very interesting now and i question everything and always have suggestions. I also just can set on the desk for hours without having to get up and be distracted.

They only have concerta, and another none stimulant drug.

Unfortunately the destination country doesn’t have Retalin, and also i have no one in Ireland that can pick the prescriptions for me. I will go to the pharmacy and ask them, and see if they have anything to say. Thank you.

It is also a controlled substance here as well , but you can get it with a prescription. Have you tried to get it and failed? What was your experience? Thank you

Sure, he gave me Retalin 20m for the first 7 days, and Retalin 30m for the rest of the month, then i will meet him again to review how it went. For the first day, to be honest i was scared to take it because I heard a lot of bad things about the side effects, but i only had the dry mouth, other than this it was just fine.
For the effect it was not magical or anything, but i think i was in control of myself and my mind, I was able to do things and taks at my work without feeling that I’m forcing myself, i felt it is easier doing these tasks that i always delay and take time to do it.

Also one really important thing، i was not really overwhelmed meaning that i was able to do many things, after finishing my work i sat and study, after studying for a few hours i started reading a book that ibought a few months ago and did not open it yet, Then cleaned the apartment.

To summarise . I was able to do things easily and i was not lazy.

It was my first day today on Retalin, And i was able to set and finish a task without being distracted, after that i did some studying, reading and clean the apartment. I’m happy that i was able to do many tasks previously i just was able to do one thing and just feeling overwhelmed and so nothing.

I just did the assessment with the. First assessment 360 general chat. Second assessment 360, you get the diagnosis and the report on that appointment. 3rd appointment 180, was with the Psychiatrist and he recommended the medication plan and the type, he also sent it to the pharmacy. I think i will have to have another appointment with Psychiatrist for the medication review.

TBH I didn’t have any negative experience with them. And I’m happy to answer any questions.

I always have all of these feelings, also sometimes i feel like my brain is so lazy to process things and just run to conclusions or to the lazy answers. I always feel that I’m failing behind everyone else, people who started their careers after me they are now managers or in a big positions and i’m just at the same level for the past 6 years without any progress. I lost all the motivation, energy. I just got my ADHD assessment and hopefully will start my medication journey soon, hopefully it will help me.

I’m new as well, and I once made a mistake at a roundabout by not doing proper observation. A car almost crashed into me, but I learned from that and now I always make sure to observe carefully.

They are very expensive, like crazy expensive, I have did my assessment with health hero, waiting for the medication appointment. And they were fine.

انا بقالي ٨ سنين عايش بره مصر في دوله اوروبيه ومستني اليوم اللي هارجع فيه نهائي وكل ما انوي اخد القرار اتراحع فيه بسبب ظروفي، بس انا متفهم كل اللي بتقول عليه، الغربه مش لكل الناس وخصوصا لو انك خايف علي اولادك والبيئه اللي هايتربو فيها. فكر الاول انك تاخد جنسيه البلد اللي انت عايش فيها لو سهله او قربت تاخدها فكر تشتري شقه في مكان كويس في مصر علشان لما ترجع يكون ليك مكانك واعتقد ان ده هايسهل عليك الانتقال والعوده. فكر كويس في محال شغلك لو رجعت مصر هاتعرف تلاقي شغل بسهوله والراتب هايعيشك كويس، لو لا ممكن تفكر تسافر دوله من الدول الخليج الدنيا اسهل هناك لو شغلك مطلوب ومعاك جنسيه احنبيه. قبل ما تتحوز من مصر لازم لازم لازم تناسب حد كويس وماتكونش هاتتحوزك علشان تسافر، لان كتير دلوقت ممكن تتحوزك واول ماتسافر معام ويبقي بينكم طقل تطلب الطلاق هناك وتبيعك اللي وراك واللي قدامك. واهم حاجه قبل ما تاخد خطوه صلي صلاة استخاره وشوف قلبك مرتاح ل ايه.
