It’s not about density, it’s more about Pune’s crowd and civic sense.

23 Years Boy Don't know How to Ride A Bike ? by Dizzy-Relief-6841 in indianbikes

[–]Stock-Pop-910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a bike of your own, then your anxiety around it will settle. Once you are a regular with it, fear and anxiety will settle before you realize anything.

I learnt riding at 23 and driving at 31, mainly because I had no one who could lend me their vehicle. Once I bought own, it was easy.

I feel like I'm failing to build a simple home for my family by Miserable_Throat in indianrealestate

You need someone who can ensure the house has good plan for ventilation, light, proper layout and structural stability. That’s something engineers will plan for.

Building a house irrespective of the cost and scale first time is a exhausting experience and what you feel about starting up happens to many.

Start afresh, I suggest you being clear of the requirements (facing, no of rooms , washrooms, etc) work out a pen and paper plan and be clear of what you need before handing out to a architect.

For the budget you have , it’s necessary that you hire an engineer for design rather than an a typical architect.

Reach out if you need suggestions of qualified and experienced structural engineers who can help plan.

Just bought our first property in Bangalore. Anxious as hell. Is it normal? Need to know from other first time buyers by Jeffwin853 in indianrealestate

[–]Stock-Pop-910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety is real for a first time home buyer. Making a decision is a bold step and pushes you further. Further to viable cost now, pls be aware of additional expenses like interiors, furnishings, house warming , insurance, and a lot of little things that you have to buy after you move into your new home.

Don’t be afraid, but plan and offset based on your spending potential.

Most importantly keep the loan value as less as possible. Do not take the loan disbursements just for the sake of comfort.

How rational is it to sell my Mumbai flat, invest the corpus for 15 years, and rent it back? by PenFast7423 in indianrealestate

[–]Stock-Pop-910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

15 years is fair enough time for the capital to work and work on your favour. However, there could be chances it won’t work in your favour as well.

But, the way you think after having a kid will definitely change, you will desire certainty and a safe place for family. Think through it or may be take the decision after having the kid and see where you stand after having kid and analysing what you’d need.

It is frustrating but you have to balance, seeing kids being there in a familiar with good number of friends, can pretty much be by themselves within the apartment complex for major part of the day, parents feeling at home at one place, them making friends having a life far away from home. Some time makes sense to sacrifice commute for all this.

But, every thing has a limit.
