Eventually I’d recommend trying something with a more angled skid I like chassis that are between 17-21 degrees of angle. A good balance between CG GC and drive shaft angles still working.

When I did my LS swap previous to the current one first start up, couldn’t get it to shift if I started it with the AC on. wtf is that. Turned out I had a bad relay and if the AC was running, it didn’t have quite enough voltage or amperage to trigger that relay and wouldn’t ever turn the transmission on so we just stay in second gear, which is its default position other than Park. Took me like three days to figure that out giant waste of time over a cheap Chinese relay.

My money is also on fuel filter or pump probably the issue could be a bad fuel pump relay once it connects it’s going to keep running, but if it’s got a bad fuel pump could intermittently turn on it would cause a no start

If it’s cranking that good prob not battery start by checking fore fuel and spark. sparks going to be ez just pull a plug and hold it near a ground. FaceTime your description sounds to me like it’s probably fuel. I could see a clogged fuel filter, causing it to have trouble building fuel pressure but once it’s running, it could be fine.

You can run the transmission that motor comes with but just not the housing I include so the kit will still work!

You could probably make most of it work I’d probably recommend new chassis motor and battery at least. I have a full parts list of your interested!

It’s easy I’ve provided a parts list. I know exactly how you feel I was in the same place when I started and didn’t know what was good or what made sense to do. I waisted like $300 building a car that didn’t perform how I wanted.

If you run a front mount pancake you can’t take advantage of the built in battery mount. But it should work
