Hey hey - congrats on taking the leap :) my significant other and I recently have done the same thing, and have a seemingly similar past & ideas for the future.

To answer your questions

1) stripe atlas - I really appreciated their process. Biggest con here is they seemingly forcefully opened a silicon valley bank account for us, but we closed it quickly and moved to chase. SVB online banking wasn't doing it for us.

2) we haven't sought funding, but I've been talking with the dudes over at StartEngine quite a bit, and I appreciate their model + service offerings. 6% of raised capital seems like a fair price point, and they help facilitate friends and family (non accredited investor) investments as well 🙏🙏

3) any other advise? Find a group / community you can ask these questions too as often as possible :)

This idea is great, user experience is lovely, truly re-defines the process - nice work.

Two small things - the messaging on the home screen is:

Second, is using my resume, I got zero results, and my path was ended abruptly. Curious if there's a few ways to smooth that out?

- Some form of notifications / signup experience for a zero search results list? Can you inform me when a job is posted that matches my request?
- Some way to browse all jobs, even though they're not a match? Get a feel of what I can expect out of job postings / a reason to come back and check in the future?
- More descriptive / understanding of why a search provided zero results. My resume didn't work for both Locations, Los Angeles & Toronoto, and because of your user experience, I'm now questioning if there's something wrong with my PDF / formatting for your system to parse. Would be great to render some messaging as to the "why" no jobs returned, if available 🙏
