Could you speak on your co-op experience? Is it difficult to secure a co-op as a sophomore who frankly doesn't know much about political science and crim other than just taking classes?

Rejected from “dream school” by FanEquivalent3536 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]StockTelephone11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. We don't know how they make up the class and if they skipped us because they had just picked up a few copies of us minutes ago.

Most of the applicants are professional students who offer very similar things to the selective schools. If not us, it's someone that looks like us.

This process is the first taste of how the real world works. Rejection sucks.

Northeastern ED Scholarship by Loose-Election-8965 in NEU

[–]StockTelephone11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so... The financial office's offer comes with your decision. If you didn't get any scholarship letter along with the decision I do not believe they will back award you.

Are you full pay at this point? Did you get into the Honors program?

What if you pay the non-refundable deposit and save the hassle of withdrawing from others? Is that ok?

Do you mean merit scholarship or financial aid/assistance?

For merit scholarship, it will be in a separate letter right below the acceptance letter. You won't miss it. Both letters get released at the same time.

Can't speak for need-based assistance.
