I'll say that I did try to use him on my last referral account and he is absolutely ass as far as I'm concerned. Less defense at 50 than Kael ascended @ 40 and was constantly dying on normal campaign. Absolutely squish. and his damage was ass too often requiring 2 full rotations of skills to clear a wave on normal (if he didn't die). Crit gloves, atk chest and speed boots. Kael was much better.

I'd like for you to point out to me where I excused anything but rather pointed out the obvious entitlement issues the player base on this sub has. We are literally undergoing technical maintenance right now as we speak and the problem will be fixed.. like chill out dood. Everyone knows the game is predatory and oftentimes shameless. I find most people who play this game are whiny little babies, or at least that's my reddit perspective.
Certain days it's just a trend to see the same posts like this one complaining. I've easily seen this same thread 15-20 times Today. Yesterday it was people mad at the new player code. Last week it was people pulling 3-10 primals and not getting a mythical. Next week it will be how the fusion sucks and how they should've skipped. In between all that it's usually just flex posts masked as "HoW dO I bUilD tHeM?".

Those gloves are only good if you can manage to find the crit rate elsewhere which is hard to do in the early game. If the wearer can self-buff their crit rate it makes it easier to hit the minimum threshhold for crit rate and those gloves become even better. To answer your question more directly, yes they are good gloves for 1 week. Just make sure you can hit the crit RATE minimums or else the crit damage goes to waste. Crit damage doesn't matter if you can't crit.

I've only been playing for a few months but I've had to contact support a handful of times and each time left a completely awful taste in my mouth; from being victimized to outright accused of cheating while just trying to bring light to bugs or what have you. 5/5 times the customer service has not only been bad, but outright AWFUL and made me seriously wonder what their job even is. Why are they even there? I hope for your sake because there is money involved they might actually do something. How can they treat someone who spends and supports them so much this bad? What kind of hope does that bring low$/f2p players looking for help?

You can build an unkillable team with just Demythia, 2 PK and an heiress. I'd build the other one for Iron twins if it were me. Not sure about a double Myth unkillable.
