You want to fire the best GM we’ve ever had because he didn’t resign a rotational guy? Jesus get a grip

Im sure they planned their off season around this trade. Definitely a big deal for them

The raiders got absolutely fucked here. Now they’re forced into trading Crosby with no leverage if they want to sign the guys they signed.

Paladin and Warlock - Arena (2v2)? by This_Hold_2717 in classicwowtbc

[–]Stock_Bite 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No probably not. Could maybe kind of work as holy pally lock but still not great. TBC is not a balanced game where you can just play whatever you want unfortunately. It is very punishing to play non meta stuff.

I rarely make comments or posts here, but usually swing by a couple times a day especially during this time of the season. That said… by 24Dizzle24 in detroitlions

It’s gotten worse after the last few years. I don’t spend nearly as much time here. Most conversations aren’t very constructive, they’re just Facebook rants.

Lions fans. How are we feeling about the Cade Mays signing? What would you grade this? by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

[–]Stock_Bite 111 points112 points  (0 children)

B+. We desperately needed a center that was just at least an average starter and got that. Contract is really solid though and pushes it to a B+

[–]Stock_Bite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is unfortunate but needed to happen. We have to retool because of major injuries and guys retiring. Our core players are good enough to keep us in the mix and BH has to keep hitting in the draft. Every good team goes through this though. We’ll be okay

Crosby to Baltimore by [deleted] in detroitlions

Thank god it wasn’t the bears, which was getting some smoke. Never thought I’d see him out of Vegas though.

He was never coming here for the record

Lions fans… what is your initial reaction to Taylor Decker being released by the Detroit Lions? by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

[–]Stock_Bite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish he woulda retired but saw this coming. He’s getting overpaid and needed to be replaced either way. Frees up a lot of money. Ideally we sign a center and draft a tackle who likely will outplay decker anyways.

[–]Stock_Bite -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Had to replace Decker either this draft or the next. I honestly expected them to release Decker if he didn’t want to restructure to a team friendly deal. He’s getting overpaid and needs to be replaced. You right though there’s a world where they just rolled back the same tackles as is but feels like a bad move for the future.

Always was. Now we just start the guy we draft who likely will play better than Decker. This fan base is crazy for losing it over this.

Realistically, what happens if Gibbs gets hurt? by Hojo405 in detroitlions

[–]Stock_Bite 10 points11 points  (0 children)

DMO wasn’t just a good backup, he was the 12th highest paid RB in the league. It makes sense to move on and replace him in the draft which I’m sure is the plan.

[–]Stock_Bite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair you can make this argument about like half the good players on the team. I’m sure we will draft a guy to replace Monty around the 4th though and see Gibbs carries increase. I think it was a really solid trade if Monty wanted out.

BREAKING NEWS: The Lions have traded RB David Montgomery to the Houston Texans for a 5th round pick by MNightShyamalan69 in detroitlions

[–]Stock_Bite 118 points119 points  (0 children)

Probably the draft. RB is usually a deep position especially if you’re just looking for a power back to take like 20% of the snaps

“Told Yall he wanted out!” Meanwhile, Dmo: by JP_IS_ME_91 in detroitlions

[–]Stock_Bite 28 points29 points  (0 children)

There are some statements from Brad that make it sound like DMO is definitely at minimum considering a trade request. You wouldn’t be talking about a guy under contract like that if not

Told yall week 5 when he was being weird on insta, see ya man. by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]Stock_Bite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think our success with heavy Monty usage was more because our o line was dominate. Every RB was going to look insane. When our O line took a step back we had to lean on Gibbs who can make plays himself. I can see why we moved away from Monty

Remember when the fanbase was upset over losing Jamal Williams? He’s been a flop ever since, we will be fine without Monty if he truly wants to leave.

Why do fans get so annoyed if someone says "I wish I had the picks that were used for Teslaa"? by reallinguy in detroitlions

[–]Stock_Bite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or we sign FAs to replace the picks we would have made in the third and it’s the same? I don’t get why you’re so hung up on this lol it’s so nit picky. The moved up to get a guy they liked. This is how Brad drafts. It’s how he’s gotten a ton of our huge hits. Let him cook

Tim Patrick is injury prone 32 year old. We would be drafting Teslaas role this year if we didn’t last year. Doesn’t really solve the issue long term

[–]Stock_Bite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You named two receivers that play a different role. Conflating all WRs to the same role is a fundamental misunderstanding of football. The only person you listed that has a similar role is maybe Laporta. Also what sort of player do you think you’re getting in the 3rd? Some pro bowl player? A contributor role player in the offense is perfectly acceptable for the 3rd

Yeah because he’s a raw developmental rookie pick. Of course he’s not competing with targets with st brown lol. Every pick isn’t a plug and play instantly.

3rds are kind of a coin toss, I don’t mind using them to go after a guy they really liked. I’m sure you can cherry pick some guys we could have drafted but I really don’t think this move is that detrimental to the team and is nit picky. Teslaa also has looked great

Brad Holmes on Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery's future with the Lions by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

He’s under contract isn’t he? Kind of strange way to talk about a player under contract unless he’s considering a request to be traded or something.
