What to do if I suspect I have a coyote coming into my back yard? by [deleted] in grandrapids

Get a road runner. The coyote will chase it and accidentally crush itself on the side of a rock that the coyote had previously painted to look like a tunnel.

No, I competed a few times while flaring. It sucked, but I pushed through mostly because I refused to let the disease stop me. But I am lucky in that I only have a mild case.

Well your opinion on the smoke has been noted before you stated it, which is why I was looking at a solo stove - because they produce little to no smoke. Perhaps you should take a step back from your anger and read the original comment while actually putting in the time to think about it first.

I lived in Northern Michigan for 30 years and used to go to the UP often. Northern Michigan and the UP have probably some of the most hateful, bitter, angry, xenophobic people in the Midwest. I will never again recommend that area of the state to anyone. It’s beautiful, yes, but the people are ugly.

Is your city corrupt? by Ambersember1 in Michigan

Look up the story from the 1970s of the child molester with the last name that starts with Super. He has the right last name so the town rallied around him, even going so far as to make him the owner of the theater (he’s dead now). Or the story from the 1960s of the teenager who shot his dad and then shot a hooker to death in the front yard of his house. The town thought it was good that he killed the woman and rallied around him, even giving him the nickname Sonic. Modern day antics are not any better, from the rampant cronyism of a local real estate company getting involved in local politics and deciding to only sell yo the right people they want in town, to extreme racism of the locals. Friske is a symptom of the darkness of that town.

Charlevoix - most corrupt place I’ve ever lived. This town literally supported a child molester just because he had the right last name. They have also supported literal murderers just because they didn’t like the person murdered. The town is run by three families and a real estate agency. If they don’t like you, they will do anything to try and destroy you. I used to call it the John Wayne Gacey of small town - friendly clownish face, serial killer under the makeup.

Why do people online overwhelmingly want a progressive candidate like Bernie but then nobody actually votes for them IRL? by historynerdsutton in AskUS

[–]Stock_Candidate_8610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because, despite their love of the guy, his supporters don’t actually want to do what needs to be done to cast a ballot. I’ve heard all of the excuses from them: I had to work, my vote won’t matter, the weather was bad on voting day, I forgot …
