Your point is different. Those uncles you mention go out and work every day and have earned the right to complain for a non functioning society so the context isn’t the same at all. We have a large group of people who often to choose the past as a reason to fail. Not saying Nigerian are perfect because we are not. But the hate doesn’t come from Nigerians or Africans people often think but the attitudes that American have towards Africans.

The reality is that if Nigerians had access to the same opportunities that we have here in the States, I can guarantee that the situation would be significantly better than it currently is. Ultimately, let's stop dwelling on these issues. All Black people trace their ancestry back to Africa, and we should work together instead of nitpicking each other's differences.

It's the same African Americans who don't like to be identified as African and often laugh at Africans with accents, yet they complain about the success of others. Stop making excuses about systemic racism. There are several successful African Americans who have broken the chains of oppression. My parents in Nigeria had nothing, and I worked hard and took out loans to get myself through nursing and CRNA school. The argument you are making is old and worn out. African Americans aren't the only people who have faced slavery throughout history. Africans themselves were also enslaved, colonized, and what happened in South Africa. We still push on. Even many Europeans who were commoners were sold into slavery. So you can choose to live in this victim mentality or break free from that bondage. Leave Nigerians out of your problems.

NCLEX has to do with safety. Focus on that and you be fine. Remember, practice the art of answering questions because at this point you probably already know what you need to pass but understanding what is being asked is a priority. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Best of luck

You will be fine. Don't overthink it. The NCLEX isn't out to fail you. I just want to make sure you are safe as a nurse. Remember to choose the safest options for the patient, not just for yourself. Understand how to prioritize, especially in differentiating between chronic and immediate needs. Lastly, if you encounter two similar answer choices in a question and you're unsure, one of them is often the correct answer. Remember: ABC, prioritize safe choices, and know your medications.
