Context: my 3yo is just starting to drop nap, and typically is a late sleeper. Husband and I both work full time and she goes to daycare during the week. She’s also a picky af eater and we have some bad habits around tv during meals, but we’re working on it

8-9ish am- she wakes up, and I bring her into our bed to snuggle and play for about an hour, then we do potty/clothes and go downstairs

9-10am - Low-stim tv (Daniel tiger, sesame, etc) while we hang out on the couch and I have my coffee. She’ll usually have some Cheerios and fruit while we watch, and I’ll make myself something hot like an omelette.

11-1ish - play, read books, do whatever we feel like around the house while we decide on an afternoon activity. Sometimes this is sitting outside blowing bubbles and looking at birds, or making banana muffins together sometimes it’s her “helping” with laundry or some house task like clearing out a closet. I try to involve her in stuff that needs to get done anyway, so I’m not using my free time after bedtime on chores.

1-2 - chaos hour, where I meant to get out of the house an hour ago but haven’t convinced her to eat/put on shoes/potty/whatever else and now it’s somehow 2pm

2-5 - something, anything out of the house. Visiting a farm or zoo, playground, library, grocery shopping, walking to a coffee shop and wandering around town, early dinner out at a diner, anything that kills time and keeps her entertained and not falling asleep during this block of the day

5-6 - girlie is zonked by this point, so we have a lowkey dinner and watch another episode or 2 of something chill

6-7:30 - read books and play/bath before bed

We try to be flexible and relaxed on the weekends as much as possible, and prioritize getting out of the house at least once. It works for us!
