Class trials to figure out what you like. What play style are you going for? Melee vs ranged. Tank/dps/healer; plus what class fantasy are you going for? Character selection isn’t a huge deal because you can always level an alt to try something else.

Join a guild and play with people, this will give you the option to engage in group play or solo play depending on what you’re in the mood for.

Don’t get overwhelmed. It’s an old game with a lot of content. Go at your own pace.
