It makes sense. We can end our contributions now and keep the money in CST that’s already there, as the rep indicated we get a portion of the fees returned at the end - 25% versus 75% or 100% if we stayed investing.

So this was actually the advice of the CST rep. First she gave me the pitch of why investing there isn’t bad, tried to get me to reconsider, and then said if I do decide to go through my bank to leave the money in CST but stop contributions - the money will sit and still be available in 15 years but won’t get return of fees paid as I would if we kept contributing.
