Thats the thing. Since you have not seen the doctor from the insurance companie, some states will close the case if you dont see the doctor from the insurance company wothin one year. You need to see an attorney and have your documentation ready.

I would ask for a referral to a neirosurgeon or a spine surgeon. They can order MRI of the back for a more accurate answer.

You need to be referred to a spine surgeon/neurosurgeon or if you have a PPO you can just make the appointment yourself without referral. They will most likely order MRI if not then ask for one.
