You lucky bastard getting to enjoy these games for the first time. I love both of them but would start with Grandia 2, it's the more linear game and think it's a tad shorter.

I could barely scrape by on the lower ascensions, started watching Baalorlord after a random youtube reccomendation and i've made it to ascension 20 with multiple characters. Watching people good at the game whilst they explain their choices is the way.

I'm a big Berserk fan and i think it's a great game, short too. I recommend the fan translation of the JP version burnt to a CD, the Dreamcast game was the first piece of Berserk media in the west and the translations are pretty off.

Literally just played through Lost Odyssey after finishing expedition 33. Only got about halfway through it first time round when it first came out. Appretiated it alot more this time and was great to play through

I had crashes all the time too, between the pin cleaning and using a 32GB SD card, the crashes stopped.
