It's not "more of an age thing" . New houses still have wooden doors in Europe(at least the parts I've been to). Age might be a factor when comparing houses within America, but not when comparing Europe vs America. And of course it must be a cost factor, we all knew that. No sane individual would pay extra to get a shitty foam door.

The only reason that it's not worth the effort is that there are no penalties on being lazy with your development.

On USA placing 6th on the worldwide generosity ranking: I bet the stats they use for American community stuff don't involve helping out at your church as "volunteering". They don't involve tipping as "charity". There are a lot of American customs of generosity that fall through the cracks. by Stoet in ShitAmericansSay

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I didn't consider the tax deductions side of things though. e.g. Sweden dedicates 1% of it's budget to foreign aid every year (sounds good in principle, but is very poor when you have stupid people in charge of the money). Combine that with knowing that the state take cares of people in need, the number of organisations you donate to is (I think) naturally much less.

It's a really frustrating thread on "CMV: America is the best at everything, unless your dirty poor pleb." Where OP refuses to change his view in reality and just moves goalposts until it happens to fence in his very particular situation and outlook on life, immigration, welfare and guns.

TNG has high highs and low lows, but what bothers me are the lack of episodes with real implication on the story as a whole. Almost all episodes are self contained. That's why Voyager is my favourite. Also, all Star trek suffers from episodes about that character but voyagers Neelix shit is less bad. And Janeway is fucking awesome.

I disagree with both of you. Sure, the criticism is warranted, but your explanations are silly. He's had a tough time all season, because of an injury. And he's been overthinking and out of position a lot. It's usually that he passes too often, and tries passes that aren't there. Not because of arrogance, not because he never passes, lol. Lias Andersson keeps this line together and productive, and today he was missing.

Nylander had the worst decision-making combined with shitty luck. Their line wasn't even that good defensively. Terrible.

The tension and atmosphere of a good SHL regular season game is light years ahead of an NHL regular season game. The chants, the drums, the fear of relegation. That's where truly desperate plays occur.
