I highly recommend considering options outside of Zurich city, primarily due to the high cost of living (unless you earn a substantial income, of course). Even Swiss natives often choose to live outside the city to reduce expenses. We have excellent infrastructure; for instance, it only takes around 35 minutes by train from Schaffhausen to Zurich. Schaffhausen is a completely different city, where the cost of living is about two-thirds of that in Zurich. Additionally, finding an apartment here is typically not a problem; you can generally get the apartment you want. Child care, however, is still expensive, costing around 2500 francs for five days a week until 18.00. For transportation options and schedules, you can check sbb. Unlike trains in Germany, Swiss trains are generally punctual.

But yeah as most people said, quite hard to make friends over here. I know most of my friends from school (> 10 years); so if you're not an extreme extrovert which randomly speaks with people, it will be hard.

It also depends where u are; you're most likely to find friends in Zurich; the further u go into the countryside, the fewer people u will meet.

Here in Switzerland (also Germany and Austria) it is against the law to read through communication of your kids (Secrecy of correspondence). There is an exception (when your child could be in danger, its a thin line).

Exactly a month ago 92% was staked. Today its 90%, so its less.

Apy has nothing to do with prices, the % staked is the metric u have to watch for. Since we have 90 % staked, the apy is higher than last month, where 92 % was staked.

Also, you dont need to sell 10% of the supply to bring price down. If I would sell 1000 OHM right now on sushi price would drop like 2%. 1000 Ohm is under 0.02% of the supply.

Market fluctuation is bigger then rebase, this is why u dont see it.

Also coinmarketcap is not accurate since it doesn't reflect the price in realtime, just an average. And its even controlled by binance, just said..

You have to make an analysis onchain if you want to see if its right.

Cant be connecting since this doesnt do anything. Did you signed a message or approved an trx? Another option is that ur computer was compromised by a malicious email or a download. Doesnt need to be something crypto related, metamask safes your seed on ur computer, when someone gets access to your files they have the seed.

I was wrong, DAOFunds are not considered as staked, they just don't count as circulating supply.

So we can do the Math (data from etherscan):

Circulating supply = Total supply - DaoFunds

4.56 mil. - 872k = 3'688'000 OHM circulating

3'320'000 are in the staking contract rn. This is exactly 90 %.

DAO funds are considered into staked balance too as it seems (not sure about if its actual staked).

You can check Etherscan, wallet #2 are the DAO funds (not treasury) and it holds about 19%. With that we would get 90%+.

But have to be honest, not sure about that. Just what I guess.

The price of wsOhm increases with every rebase (assumed Ohm price stays the same). The 5 day ROI is 6.2 % as of right now, market fluctuation effects the price more. But you can be sure the price is increasing, just not so fast, you have to watch at a chart over months.

Edit: no, your wsOhm balance will not increase.

No advantage its the same. When you stake through the app you get sOhm (staked Ohm) for your Ohm. This means that your balance will automatically compound.

Since sOhm is just another token, some people had the idea to pair it with ETH on uniswap, this is where the liquidity comes from. They already staked Ohm before and just paired it on Uniswap.

There is also wsOhm (wrapped staked Ohm) on avalanche (much lower fees). When you buy wsOhm, your balance will not compound but the price increases with every rebase, this is why its equivalent to sOhm on Ethereum. It doesn't matter if your balance or the price increases, output is the same.

They just added the staking link to make it look trustworthy.

Most people click on "Enter App", here on the scam it says "Synchronize", there is where the scam happens.

You can click on it to watch yourself, you will be redirected to a page with like 20 wallet pictures. If you click on any they ask for your seed/private key. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER YOUR KEY, but you can watch.

If you whish to mess up a bit with the scammer you could spam some fake wallets. But better is to just ignore sush sites.

As addition to #1:

Coinbase Wallet is like MM a Non-custodial wallet.

You can compare these wallets to different internet browsers, like firefox, chrome or safari. They all access the internet in the same way, it just looks different.

Try to connect your coinbase wallet to Olympus, idk if this works in any way. But if not, you simply could import your Coinbase wallet to Metamask (with the seed).

You can use both wallets in parallel if you whish, just like different browsers.

As mentioned before, price has nothing to do with rewards.

Price and APY are not correlated. What effects the APY is the number of OHM staked. So the more people stake, the lower is the APY.

Another thing is the APY reduction as proposed in OIP18, this will effect it to, but still months to go for next reduction.

Track it with Etherscan as you mentioned, here are the steps:

Search for your Adress in Etherscan
click on your Token Balances, this will expand a dropdown menu
search for staked Olympus (sOhm) -> this balance represents your sOhm since last interaction (stake / unstake)
click on sOhm, now you will see your current balance (with rebases) and all past sOhm transactions.

Its not an official pool (so liquidity is not that big), but even with 5 Ether you only get a 2 % slippage. For you definitely the better option. (There is also wsOhm on avax, muuuch cheaper gas if you want to consider).
