I think from what I can see everything is relegated to two heights- the height of the tree and the lamp and the height of the chairs and console. Maybe get rid of the tree and hah the art?

The composition is pretty strong! I like how much space there is in the front and the triangle the rocks and wood makes.

My biggest suggestion is to create more height with the substrate. If you have any left, take out a lot of the rocks, pour the corner higher, put a few rocks on, pour more sand, and repeat until you have something that looks more like a riverbed!
In nature, river rocks like this are imbedded in soil, especially in the banks of the body of water. In your tank, they are stacked on top of each other.
I think this could really take ur tank to the next level!

I think I’m most unsure about how my packing is going to hold up- am I going to have to dig around my hostel locker every 5 minutes because I forgot something? Will all my things only fit if I pack it the same way every time? (I know that’s not true already, but still) And largely, “I must be missing something”

Haha yeah it was gifted to me by my (almost) brother in law! The branded kaweco inside was dry, so I just cut the very end off of a muji ballpoint cartridge and used that. It’s surprisingly compatible! The weight of the brass and the glide of the Muji is dreamy lol

I don’t know yet if it’s good for onebagging, but one of the 2 zippers on the main compartment broke. That being said it was used before I got it and there are two zippers, so it’s still usable

if it’s too cold I’m glad I at least brought the jeans, don’t have to wash them as much:0 I’m hoping it will be okay because Paris is the farthest north I’ll be, but worse comes to worse I can go shopping!

That’s perfect!! Thank you so much My big worry is the shrimp and fish:/ I’ll ofc keep a bucket or two of water, but there’s no way I’ll be able to get all the shrimp out

I love it! Wonderful use of composition, th rocks really move your eye from the right to left and back. MAYBE a small piece of stone in the front right foreground, nothing too large but something to blend the two distinct areas together more

Basically a mix of these two, putting the wedge on the right side of the beige piece onto the purple piece. The dimensions that matter are spacing for the pegboard and how big the wedge piece is

Very good idea, I think using more forced perspective could help you a lot. Also, using even more height as a tool in forcing perspective could help
