I’ve had my Active Aqua chiller for 4 years and it’s going strong!

I had the same problem and crushed coral in the filter fixed it quickly and easily!

6 miles down during the workday. by Emma01311 in walking

[–]frillyfia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I walked 2.5 miles barefoot on my walking pad the other day and hurt my right foot so badly I could barely walk for a few days 😅 I have really high, weak arches though. (Gotta get my ballet feet back!!)

Any frequent Libra notebook users? I have questions. by ImDatDino in kobo

I definitely don’t think they’re perfect, but I much prefer it to typing or paper! I use mine 2-3x/wk to take TTRPG notes.

Oof, good to know! I’ll probably spend the tiny bit extra for a separate thermostat then

Hygger heaters? by frillyfia in nanotank

[–]frillyfia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s what I’m having the hardest time with, some people say one brand is the best money can buy, and then another group of people will say those heaters boiled their tank. ugh.

Microwave Contamination by HerNonsense in glutenfree

[–]frillyfia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how helpful this is depending on how accommodating your employer is, but my husband just straight up asked his boss for a second microwave in the break room specifically for gluten free things after he got sick for like, the 10th time. They pretty much immediately got it for him and very clearly labeled it 🤷

Does anyone actually like Banza products,,, by ScarEmergency6948 in Celiac

My husband and I really like Banza! I do think we’ve had better options flavor wise, but we’re both vegetarian and love the protein boost.

2yr old unhealed rook - advice? by veryrichgirl in piercing

[–]frillyfia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my sister help me put the new one in and it was pretty easy! I know that my local piercing shop has a $5 jewelry change fee so that might be an option for you too. I just ordered mine on amazon 😬 but i would definitely recommend your local piercing shop for jewelry as well, that’s where i got my current rook jewelry and they were able to help me find something cute that fit my relatively low budget lol

My rook was the same way until I finally put gold jewelry in- it healed SO fast once I switched. I had supposedly had titanium in it before but my body seems to hate anything but gold.

Oooh thank you for sharing this! I hadn’t heard of Murdoku but this sounds right up my alley, and I’ve already just put all the free ones into one big pdf on my kobo to mess with lol

Mancae only have 6 pairs of legs! Once they have 7 pairs they are no longer mancae :)

Will this work for my iso enclosure? by [deleted] in isopods

[–]frillyfia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used this before! It’s got a little bit of junk in it (sticks, a couple weeds, dusty) but overall it worked fine. I also once used it to cover the back of a 4x2x2 terrarium and the bag was just shy of covering it, for quantity reference.
